The campus of BIT Durg is quite good in my experience
The teachers in BIT Durg are hardworking

Dislikes

The classes are not good and not any work in personality development

Placement Experience:

Our college BIT Durg providing placement in 7th sem and giving average package 7 to 8 lpa the company are visiting in our college are TCS Infosys Jindal etc they giving highest package 20 lpa The parentage of students to get placed is 80%

Likes

Some faculty is very good to the student
Sports and NCC are well maintained in college
Cleaning is maintained in the campus and greenary is maintained

Dislikes

Campus size is very small which does not have football ground
Fee is high according to the quality of education they are providing
Manegment is very strict they consider themselves the hero of everything

Placement Experience:

As the ressesion has occurred,the college placement got affected which decreased the placements otherwise placement of the college was good every student atleast use to have 1 job in the fourth year of engineering but now there is no placement

Life at Bit durg

Likes

I like the campus atmosphere and positivity and the teachers who gave their best to make a student as a human capital
I also like the sports faculties and facilities because they are the primary and necessary things for student of a college

Placement Experience:

The placement of bit durg is quite average 7-8 lpa which is not so much but good to initiate and gain experience.. Many of the students also try off campus placement to get better selection... Many students of my batch starts preparing for government exams .which is the best plan also after college

Placement Experience:

Placements are also pretty average. Anyone has to learn specific set of skill set on there own to get employment. Companies do come to recruit people and skilled candidates gets decent placement. I would opt for the Campus Interviews and also apply for other companies as well and focus on developing great skill set.

BIT Durg - An Honest Review

Likes

College Reputation is very good in central india
International exchange programes that college offer is one of its USP that I believe amazing opportunity to learns and build your profile.

Dislikes

Placements Quality are not at par, the management must consider bringing on good companies.

Placement Experience:

There are some companies that come for placements like TCS, Infosys, Panasonics ( Top Recruiter), but yes the placements are not great, but mostly students go for GATE and other higher exams like MBA, overall the more you learn the better you can take out of BIT Durg.

Life of Civil engineering students at BIT Durg

Likes

Club culture and taking part in various competitions.
Sone faculty were good but not most of them.
Quality of faculty can be improved. Barring that we had a big enough library , mess facility which were all good.

Dislikes

Faculty quality in civil dept and the method of teaching

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to pursue engineering. Got the opportunity to study in BIT Durg , hence grabbed it with both hands. Our batch particularly was affected by Covid19 hence we could not do much practical labs but our college did had all the required labs. Exams are held semester wise.

Likes

I like college environment and campus Life
I like college sports facilities and ground
College has supportive faculties and fellow mates

Dislikes

The meal which is provided by mess is excellent
Sports culture and equipments is very good
College Central library don't have global books

Placement Experience:

Our college provides campus placement but there are not that good ,It provides highest package of 16 lakhs per annum these year from company called praviag pand average package of around 5.5 lakhs per annum

The teaching is very good full syllabus is covered and teachers are helping
The infrastructure is also nice and gives a great impression
The opportunity for exploring yourself is good

Dislikes

Not giving the opportunity for involving in club activities for freshers
Hostel fees is very high as per the accomodation facilities
Placements are very basic and not that good

Placement Experience:

The college provides placement which lies between 4 lpa to 6 lpa which is very basic. If there is no campus placement we can opt for higher studies like master and civil services or we can apply for off campus placement.
