Likes

Some faculty is very good to the student
Sports and NCC are well maintained in college
Cleaning is maintained in the campus and greenary is maintained

Dislikes

Campus size is very small which does not have football ground
Fee is high according to the quality of education they are providing
Manegment is very strict they consider themselves the hero of everything

Course Curriculum Overview

The method of teaching is normal nothing exceptional, but some of the faculty is very good with the students whereas the faculty which have the management in control are very strict, smart board is used in classrooms

As the ressesion has occurred,the college placement got affected which decreased the placements otherwise placement of the college was good every student atleast use to have 1 job in the fourth year of engineering but now there is no placement

Fees and Financial Aid

39000 is the per semester fee for a student this is for an even semester and 40000 is for an odd number semester. college itself does not conduct any exam for the scholarship but the teacher guides you to give scholarship exams

Campus Life

Students can be admitted in a club in the second year, First-year student is not allowed in the club, in an annual basis fest named ojas is conducted in which anyone can take part, The library has many books and students also have the right to issue book from the campus, college also includes NCC for 3 years

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Life is chill there are no restriction but near by pg rooms are better when it comes on budget hostel fee is 75000 par year including mess but a pg will cost you 2500 and a mess will cost you 2000 per month , so pg is more cheap

Admission

In a semester we have 2 ct and 1 end sem examination with a medium difficulty level. Admission is done on the basis of cgpet rank, admission process is easy they guide you to take complete admission process which just requires your documents

BIT DURG a 3.5/5 college

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we can sit in interviews but the companies are far too less, like in last year only 6 companies came to campus at all, with an average package of ?3,00,000 and about 15 students got placed from Entire BTech, like 15 out of 500 students that too for sales roles

It's a great college for engineering as well as commercial

Remarks:

As I've mentioned above the management is worse but the teaching system is good. The director is a piece of shit a bald cunt. He did not even know what he was doing. He was a non cooperative asshole. All he did was snoooe around in classes and intimidated teachers. All in one it is a good college to tak admission in.

Honest Review of BIT Durg by a student

This is a reputed college in Chhattisgarh, and maybe that's why I chose this college. One can get into it by giving either JEE Mains or CGPET.
