Admission at BIT Durg for BTech is granted based on marks scored in JEE Main or CG PET, i.e, Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test directed by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board. Candidates may also apply for admission via lateral entry. The candidate should have cleared a 3-year Engineering Diploma or BSc with 45% to be eligible for admission.

Ans. BIT Durg offers MTech in Environmental Science and Engineering in part-time mode. Spanning across 3 years, the course has 15 seats. Candidates should have cleared graduation, along with being a valid GATE Rank Holder.
Ques. What is the reservation policy followed concerning seat intake at BIT Durg?
Ans. As per the admission procedure laid down by the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Chhattisgarh, 10% of the annual approved intake is reserved for candidates outside Chhattisgarh, 15% of the annual intake is earmarked as management Quota seats and 75% of the annual intake is marked as State (Chhattisgarh) Quota seats for admission to the undergraduate (B.Tech) courses being offered by the Institute.
Ques. Does BIT Durg follow a reservation policy for admissions?
Ans. The Institute strictly adheres to the reservation policy framed by the State Government i.e, 12%, 32% and 14% of total sanctioned seats in different courses provided by private unaided technical educational institutions shall be reserved for the candidates of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes respectively for admission in the State.

Ans. Scholarships at BIT Durg are awarded based on various categories. Candidates scoring merit in GATE are eligible for a stipend of INR 12,400.
