International exchange programes that college offer is one of its USP that I believe amazing opportunity to learns and build your profile.

Placements Quality are not at par, the management must consider bringing on good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are quite updated with emphasis on hands on experience, like Hackathons, NPTEL courses, webinars etc, but my suggestion would be to explore as much as you can , BIT Durg promots culture of learning beyond classrooms.

Placement Experience

There are some companies that come for placements like TCS, Infosys, Panasonics ( Top Recruiter), but yes the placements are not great, but mostly students go for GATE and other higher exams like MBA, overall the more you learn the better you can take out of BIT Durg.

Fees and Financial Aid

During 2015-2019, the per semester fee was arounf 38000/- it might vary as per recent structure, also you can contact the admissions team ,the college do provide some scholorship depending on reservations or the merit list.

There are clubs like CLICKS for photography, astro Club, other engineering clubs , clubs ofr art and dance, OJAS is their annula cultural fest, it will expose you to different aspects that are important for your personal and professional growth story

Admission

BIT is one of reputed engineering collges of chhattisgarh, campus is easily reachable with any mode of transport, you can get into BIT Durg through CGPET or JEE mains marks. The college gives you certain opportunities to outshine yourself, BIT Durg alumni has good netwrok and you will see alot of students doing really great in their professional life.

BIT DURG a 3.5/5 college

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

From 7th semester we can sit in interviews but the companies are far too less, like in last year only 6 companies came to campus at all, with an average package of ?3,00,000 and about 15 students got placed from Entire BTech, like 15 out of 500 students that too for sales roles

Somehow good government college with minimal facilities

It's a great college for engineering as well as commercial

Remarks:

As I've mentioned above the management is worse but the teaching system is good. The director is a piece of shit a bald cunt. He did not even know what he was doing. He was a non cooperative asshole. All he did was snoooe around in classes and intimidated teachers. All in one it is a good college to tak admission in.

This is a reputed college in Chhattisgarh, and maybe that's why I chose this college. One can get into it by giving either JEE Mains or CGPET. Cut-off for JEE Mains isn't really high here, 75 percentile can easily land you here with computer science branch. I don't really know much about the JEE Mains cut-off.
