Likes

Scholarships like nsp etc are provided to students by applying to respective forms and staff is helpful.
The helpful faculty of the college which provide the students with valuable information and inside into the academic knowledge needed to succeed in life . the understanding of the teachers towards the students.
Placement cell is very supportive and number of companies they have manage to bring to the table is great.

Dislikes

The teachers teach well, but due to low strictness levels and no discipline there is high irregularity of attendance and students don't attend classes properly.
Faculty is little bit not so qualified. but they are so much arrogant.
The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:60 in core subjects and it goes slightly lower for the electives.

Recommend college

Likes

Faculty as well as seniors are very friendly they help alot in studies as well as other problems.
NCC of Dyal singh college is one of the best NCC among DU colleges.
College provide good sports facilities with kabadi court,basketball court as well as football and volleyball ground

Dislikes

Classes schedule sometimes are very haptic,early morning or till 5 pm and some time only one class in a day.
Politics and fights inside the college sometimes disturb events and classes.
No Ac in the classrooms like other north campus colleges of DU.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in the 4 semester however you can apply for internships from 1st onwards.There are around 116 recruiters including WIPRO,Bajaj capital,KPMG Limited etc in this college with average package of around 4.5 lakh per anum Highest package was offered in 2022 of 24 lakh per anum. My plans are not to get to get college placement I want to go for further studies and complete masters.

Amazing Experience with Dyal Singh College

Likes

Different societies and clubs which help to nurture your passion.
Opportunity to represent your college on national level.
Department can give you opportunity to write research paper under the guidance of your professors.

Dislikes

Work on infrastructure required. It will help towards more output.
Less check and balances of the college. It can be improved.

Placement Experience:

Placements are in moderate range , students of 5th and 6th semester are eligible for the same. Companies like Genpact, oberoi groups etc. visits the college. With Highest Package - 27 lakh , Average Package - 7-8 lakh. 50-60 student got placed out off 90-100 who applied . My plans are to run my own business

The lively events and fests at Dyal Singh College have been a source of immense joy for me. The annual fest, "Artemis," in February, and the tech fest, "Techstorm," in October, stand out as exhilarating highlights.

Dislikes

The political landscape at Dyal Singh College has been a less appealing aspect of my college experience. The fervor of elections and the political undertones can sometimes overshadow the academic environment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Opting for this course was a strategic move, allowing me to balance academic rigor and preparation for future exams. The faculty has well-qualified instructors who actively engage with students. Term exams have been conducted promptly, and passing hasn't posed significant challenges so far.In my course, the gender ratio leans towards more boys than girls, approximately 6:4. The faculty is still well-qualified, and their teaching approach fosters effective engagement with students. Term exams have been timely, and passing hasn't presented significant difficulties.

I chose this course because it interests me, and I also have plans to prepare for competitive exams. Talking about my college, Dyal Singh College, the teachers are good and teach well. However, there is sometimes an issue with teacher allocation in SEC and VAC subjects.

Faculty: Dyal singh College has got one of the best Faculties who are trained in their respective fields to deliver the knowledge in the best possible manner.
Lush green campus: The campus is filled with trees, bushes and different kinds of biodiversity which fills an individual with the love towards nature
Biggest library of Delhi University: The college boasts having a biggest library of the university having books in lakhs which certainly is the best escape from the hustling life of the college

Lacks maintenance: The college lacks maintenance of the variety of services which it provides.

Life at Dyal singh College

Likes

I like the the participation of teachers and the engagement with the students along with other extra curricular activities
I like the cultural societies of my college that provides a better opportunity for personality development
I also like this sports faculty of my college that provides a better opportunity to the students for their development in the sports and and related activities.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is very good but not up to the mark it requires some more development in
Like the canteen food of my college it's not very good
There is a problem of water in the college.

Canteen, food is one of the best in DU. You get non veg as well
Campus is quite big and the location is very metro friendly.
Teachers are quite good and friendly but depends on your faculty also

Dislikes

The crowd is quite average and sometimes bad
No proper security guards stationed properly
Infrastructure is old and needs proper renovation

Faculty is average. I chose the course because i was familiar with it nothing more. Student ratio I would say is a bit crowded with respect to the number of teachers. Qualification of the faculty is quite good as there are Dr. Qualified teachers. Exams were easy to pass. Term exams were not timley

College campus is good and looks appealing and crowd is also good you can study and ejoy your college life.

Dislikes

Sometimes there is no fest because fights broke out due to that no one organise any fest

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester students are eligible to get into campus placements and many popular company visits our college for placements. You can either get placement if you show your skills but if you want a desired company then you must have to wait for some time until you get your desired one.

Campus of the college , and the crowd is too good and the maintainance is good from other some colleges

Dislikes

Less no. Of fests are conducted and mostly fight broke out between the fest that ruins the whole moment

Placement Experience:

I guess 4th or 5th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies visited but as a fresher, we were not allowed so I don't have more knowledge about it but in I future I'll get to see it.

I like the campus of my college which is full of greenery.
Faculty of my college is great and one of the best among all du colleges.
Apart from academics my college provides exposure to the students.

Dislikes

I don't like that personal books are not allowed in the library.
The college administration is quite slow.
Placement could be better and there should be counselling sessions with experts.

An interesting fact is most of the students do not have an on-campus placement. Most of the Student students go for government examinations and higher studies. But still, there is a placement and internship cell that looks into the matter. The average package is 490000 per annum which is a decent amount.
