Which college should I choose for History (hons) Dyal Singh College or Delhi College of Arts and Commerce?

It is suggested that you go for Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC) rather than Dyal Singh College (DSC). Here are some reasons why: If you want a college with better infrastructure and canteen opt for DSC. On the other hand DCAC provides excellent Extra-curricular activities, societies, clubs, placements and overall exposure. The faculty of both the colleges are good. DSC is better in B.A subjects but not economics. DCAC has better connectivity. It is near to metro stations on the yellow line and pink line. Whereas DSC is only close to JLN stadium metro station on the violet line. Neither of the two colleges offer hostel facilities. But it is easier to find accommodation near DCAC than to DSC. Accommodation near DCAC is also affordable. Therefore overall DCAC is a much better choice. But in the end it depends on individual preference. Try visiting both the colleges, explore, talk to the alumni or faculty members, if possible and then take the decision.

14,000 tuition fees of Dyal Singh College in first year for my course, BA program geography + Hindi. In second year, I pay 12,000 as a tuition fee and there is scholarship provided by Delhi University to the student who are eligible for scholarship. Along with this, my college also provided fee concession to students

i am in my 1st year and i pay 14705 with semester examination fees 1400 for first semester examination. All my batchmates pay same amount only their examination fees is different as it depend upon subject you choose. there is fees concession provided to those whose family income is less than 8 lakh in a year

My College-Dyal singh (DSC)

In my first year i paid ?14000 , but in my second year I paid ?11890. examination fees is dependent upon subject which you choose so i paid in my 1st semester-?1200,in 2nd sem-?1150 and in 3rd sem-?1140. Many scholarship provided to student those whose parents have less than 8 lakh annual family income. Fees concession is provided to many students in which almost half or more amount will be return to the student account who fill the fees concession form and eligible for fees concession

All about dyal singh college

During first year fees was 13000 per year but for second and third year it was 11000 for my course history hons . Fees were refundable those who were eligible for the scholarship. After graduation security deposit amount that was 2000 were refunded

Fees is very minimal as compared to other Pvt. Colleges

I think course is very affordable. Although colleges can work more on their campus. I don't remember the exact amount but it cost me around 25,000-35,000 (for whole course) which is very much affordable if we compare with the pvt. Institutes. There was provision for scholarship and they transferred 1500 when we graduated.

In my three years, there was no increase in tuition fee The total amount of tuition fee will be about ?35,000, for every exams, there will be registration fee of ?510, the fee would need to be submitted every six months There are different scholarships available

Classes schedule sometimes are very haptic,early morning or till 5 pm and some time only one class in a day.

Fees is affordable. We also get scholarships. Placement cell also is there in the college that help in getting placement and we also get internship chances in our course time. Overall experience is good.

There is no fee. Cost to study is very friendly for students as it is a government college. It also decreases every year. For my course our college does not offer any scholarships or anything financial. But there are other scholarships i have seen students availed.

Sour and Sweet Dreams

Affordability for History Honors and even most of the courses at Delhi University is really good. They are very less compared to any other college or University in Delhi. Even the BPL families can apply for the return of fees. The scholarship is also accessible through exams. But the internships and placements with this course is not great.
