A college review by a Second year student of BSC CS Faculty.

Likes

Things I liked about my college is Faculty is very cooperative as compared to other colleges.
The college campus is neat and clean, the college is safe like no ragging and all is done here.
The canteen is also very good, it offers delicious hot coffee, and also its much crowded in college.

Dislikes

The classes are too big, like the voice of the teacher doesn't comes to the last.
The students are so mannerless, like literally they tease the professor.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of CS is like we will get to know about many things, like hardware and software too about a computer. The Computer Science students are given the best knowledge about programming languages and also about theory languages too. The coding language is complex(as per my point of view), like if we miss a fullstop in C programming the whole code will be considered as a wrong.

Average college for some it can be low level college

Likes

The college infrastructure is pretty good
The college have a small temple is the entrees thats give positive vibes
The Faculty is experienced and friendly nature

Dislikes

In our college the canteen facility is not good
The college in located in slum area so the students are take admission in our college and make uncessary violence
The college staff are not supportive in any kind of situation

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Curriculum is very old type in today's generation the curriculum we need is not mentioned in it so feel bad that the future is based on AI, cyber security etc but they teachers uncessary subjects like EVS, Indian knowledge system etc that should not mentioned in our curriculum.

DR DY PATIL COLLEGE PIMPRI REVIEW

Likes

the teachers. The teachers are very good
The labs and the lab assistants are well equipped
The experiments are conducted very professionally

Dislikes

NO PARKING At all you'll get your 2 wheeler vehicle scratched
No car parking the parkings are always full
The attendance is compulsory for some subjects and they make it difficult for you to pass in microbiology

Course Curriculum Overview:

THE COURSE is pretty outdated in my opinion all over the india and doesn't hold much value considering job Perspective otherwise its all good the teacher's do show us presentation and it is nice to learn like that.

Simple review of D. Y. PATIL ACS COLLEGE from the current student

Likes

Teacher staff, cleanliness, security, library, medical emergency
The teaching staff and other staff membars are very helping
The cleanliness of college is very good it inprove the environment

Dislikes

The campus is very short there are not very facilitys besides collage stuff
The grond is always aquired by school children there is no other ground for collage
There are very few events organize by collage

Placement Experience:

There are various placements and job opportunity offered by college in first year you can applied for job in college itself in student section which help the staff, you can also applied for job in any semester outside of college but the job which are offerd by college comes after 4th semester in those around 45-50 percent of student get selected which applied for job

My College Experience

Likes

College building infrastructure, faculty, peons
Security guards, well maintained air conditioned labs
Clean and odourless classrooms, hallways and toilets

Dislikes

Management is not that good, no place to sit and chill with friends
Students here are too vulgar and abusive as slum is right beside the college
Students cannot use lifts and students need to take sign of principal for every little work

Placement Experience:

From 5th Sem students are eligible for placements and there are 2 companies visited to our college till now, named moglix and persistent systems, average package is nearly 250000 and highest package offered till now is 305000. Out of 100% students only a few students are selected for placements and are placed according to there skills and talent. The percentage would be like 15%. I plan to opt for off campus placements after my degree.

Likes

Most of Teachers At College try to Teach as much as possible as easy way.
Teaching staff is quite helpfull and Support you any way u need.
Enviornment at College is also quite studious

Some teachers just teach u so fast that u won't under much

Placement Experience:

From 3 sem students become eligible for Campus Placement. Dy Patil has Centralised Placements so Any students can Apply for Placement at other Dy patil college too which is a Plus point I say compared to Other Universities.. Bsc.Cs has not Much Placement compared to other It enginnering course but still its good Enough. I will be Applying For Masters after completing my Current Bachelors.

Faculty members are good and very helpful. Teaching techniques is also good
Department arranges guest lecture which encourages students knowledgeable and confidence. They also arrange different different extra credit courses.
College provides students corner which includes communities like NSS, NCC, Student Development Board and clubs like rotary club, trekking club(FATEH)

Dislikes

College doesn't have large ground for sports like cricket football
Separate campus is not there for college

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 6th semester but the placement cell arrange a lecture for resume preparation, interviews preparation which helps the students for placement. But many of the bachelor students are prefer to go for higher education.

Likes

Number of students per teacher is almost 20 that he or she can keep eye on each and every student.
There are number of competitions for exhibitions held monthly in the college which motivates students to perform at state level and international level.
The projects are so interesting ,teachers also help students to perform the activities

Dislikes

The doors of classes should be sound proof and here we get to see normal doors.
All Greenboards should be replaced by white boards for avoiding the dust particles.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite easy because the supportive teaching staff help each and every student to understand his syllabus and perform good in his exams. The exams taken here are under secured and strict environment. Almost number of teachers here are PhD holders and this is the plus point about teaching staff.

The College is Ok not too good

Placement Experience:

students were eligible for placements from 5th semester companies were tcs, Capgemini, cognizant, carpro, distha the average package was 2.5 lakhs and the highest package was 3.5 lakhs the percentage of students getting placed is 50%
