Likes

Number of students per teacher is almost 20 that he or she can keep eye on each and every student.
There are number of competitions for exhibitions held monthly in the college which motivates students to perform at state level and international level.
The projects are so interesting ,teachers also help students to perform the activities

Dislikes

The doors of classes should be sound proof and here we get to see normal doors.
All Greenboards should be replaced by white boards for avoiding the dust particles.

The course curriculum is quite easy because the supportive teaching staff help each and every student to understand his syllabus and perform good in his exams. The exams taken here are under secured and strict environment. Almost number of teachers here are PhD holders and this is the plus point about teaching staff.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is divided into two parts that the student can pay his or her fee in twice in the year. I got Chhatrapati shahu Maharaj scholarship during my studies in my college which helped me to pay my tution fee.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of DY Patil college is very well developed and will maintain by the caretakers. Campus life is a topic of discussion that each and every student here feels safe in the premises . There are number of extra curricular activities organised by college and different sports facilities.

Admission

The admission process here is very satisfying and easy because the staff present there is well supportive to students from each and every category. There are different kinds of scholarships available for category students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

The curriculum is very good it's in dept and covers every aspect of my field plus they keep adding new treading topics in my syllabus like recently we have a whole subject dedicated to gut microbes nutrition so it's in detail and very nice Exam timing is good unit happens every month and one final exam we get 1 hr for 20 mark unit test and 3hours for 60 mark final test the difficulty level is moderate
