My College Experience

Course curriculum needs to be refreshed as it is quite old now, new applications must be implemented into the course which will make more students to choose this course. The teaching is good hence no room for improvement further. Timing of exams are good as it is. Just include new things in course too because after some time chapter in the course feels repetitive and hence drops the interest to learn new things from it

We did received internship opportunity but it was paid course, like we have to pay the fees for the internship first, so majority of the students opted for off campus internships. Also I prefer to go for off campus internships.

From 5th Sem students are eligible for placements and there are 2 companies visited to our college till now, named moglix and persistent systems, average package is nearly 250000 and highest package offered till now is 305000. Out of 100% students only a few students are selected for placements and are placed according to there skills and talent. The percentage would be like 15%. I plan to opt for off campus placements after my degree.

My first tear fees was approx 53000 rs and my second year fees was approx 52000 rs and right now my third year fees is 51845 rs, total tuition fees for open category for the current year is 21800 rs and laboratory fees is 25354 rs and rest 4500-5000 rs gymkhana fees, student activities, etc according to the difference in fees structure. And there are financial aid available like scholarships for the reserved category students. I am an open category student so I didn't get any scholarship but my friends are from obc category and the have 34000 of scholarships.

There are multiple events hosted by the college like navratri celebration, traditional day, bollywood day, mismatch day etc. Majority of the books and journals are available in the library. To access the books and journals students need to make a library card which can be made in libaray itself by the librarian. Classrooms have projectors so that teachers can teach effectively by e-learning facility and college is slowly adapting smart boards and will be implemented all over college in few months. There are no sports activities conducted, but we have extracurricular activities like ncc and nss.

I didn't apply to other colleges because this college was much near to my house, I didn't try to get admission in other colleges. Admission here is pretty simple, anyone can complete the process. And we have to pay atleast 25% of the yearly fees first to confirm the admission. And rest of the fees can be paid through installments.

Faculty here is good and well experienced, most of the teachers here are friendly and helpful, they understand students problem and help them if they can in every way, you will find most of the faculties in department cell of the particular course, and the exams conducted are term wise for University level and there are college level exams conducted before every term exams. There are 2 term exam conducted every year according to the university schedule, 1st term exam is conducted between oct-nov time period and 2nd term exam is conducted between mar-april time period. And difficulty of the exam is mid to high as the supervision is strict here

There is lot of places for students to hangout around the college like cafe's, hotels, garden. I didn't opted for hostel so I don't know it's timing but my college timing was 11am-5pm in third year. And its not that safe to roam around night near college because there is slum nearby
