so my total tuition fees is 13,55,000. This includes 2,50,000 as hostel fees. I also plan additional means charge of 60,000 per year. Fees is paid on an yearly basis from June to every June The time I took admission the fees for 13,55,000 and now it has increased for the students of 2024 batch. My college does have scholarship opportunities for students from economically weaker section.

Infrastructure is not very good and the fees in comparision is high

Tutition fees increases after every 2 years and complete cost of eduction for 5.5 years is around 68 lacs rupees. There is no scholarships provided by the college except for 1-5 rankers of every batch

Katihar Medical College : The Review

The tution fee has increased this year to 11,55,000/- which makes it 52 lac for the whole course (4.5 years). But this is not allowed there are separate fee for hostel and some miscellaneous fee which makes it a total of around 80 lac for the whole course. There is no fixed fee increase policy. There are scholarship chances where if your family has BPL card you can get the whole tution fee excused. (not hostel and other fee) After final year there is a mandatory 1 year of internship with a stipend. But no other source of campus employment.

Too much academic pressure and exam whic is depressing

There is no fees hike in between the course. It will remain same as during the time of admission till the final year. And our college provide scholarship to the students who belong to Bihar with 100% free on college fees

Private medical colleges have high fees but still, this college has less than many others and provides good education with highly skilled teaching and non-teaching staff. The effort is a lot for students Scholarships are available for only 3 students in a batch of 150 who are below the poverty line (BPL)

The fees structure is not that much feasible or that much expensive. The fee structure is as follows :- for the first year the fees is 5 lakhs, the second year fees is 5 lakhs and for the third year it is 5 lakhs i.e. the total is 15 lakhs rupees.

My MBBS Journey

The tuition fee of every student is Rs. 7,38,000/- each year. Also, a development fee is charged every year which amounts to Rs. 1,00,000/-. The Student Amenities fee is Rs.50,000.00 per year. The one time security deposit is Rs.1,00,000.00, which is refundable.

The fee structure is Rs 13Lakh and 25 thousand as the firsy year fees. Yes,it is quite expensive in terms of the college venue and premises. Not everyone can afford such fees and it is not inclusive of exam fees.
