The last date for the Round 1 document verification is September 2, 2024. MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 2 Registration is scheduled from September 5 to September 10, 2024 (12:00 PM) for admission to All-India Quota MBBS Seats at KMC. Katihar Medical College MBBS Admission 2024
At undergraduate level, Katihar Medical College offers MBBS to eligible candidates. Katihar Medical College Application Process 2024
Aspirants looking to apply for admission in Katihar Medical College first have to register online with Bihar Counselling Board and after that offline to the college. However, applicants have to register themselves with NEET UG/ NEET PG entrance examination on the respective official websites.
To apply for admission in any of the UG and PG courses in the college, the below mentioned procedure is to be followed step-by-step:
For Online:
- Candidates with NEET Score Card can visit the State Govt. website Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) to apply for admission.
- Click the UGMAC-2024 button to apply online.
- Register with UGMAC to create a login ID and password with a valid email id and mobile number.
- Sign with the newly create login id to pay the registration fee of INR 1200 (for General/ BC) and INR 600 (for SC/ ST/ PD) either online through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net-banking or offline through Banks with an added bank charges of INR 60.
- Take print out of the paid online challan or the stamped receipt of offline challan.
- Fill the online application form carefully with personal and academic information.
- Submit the completely filled application form and download the same after submission.
- Take the print of the application form in the format of Part A and Part B.
For Offline:
- Aspirants can obtain the prospectus and application form from the admission office of the college.
- Fill the application form correctly.
- Affix the passport sized photograph on the designated places in the form.

- There is only one cadaver for dissection for a batch of 150 students in 1st year.
- The girls hostel has an in-time of 8 pm.
Admission:
This college is ranked as the best private college in bihar for mbbs. I had got 606 marks in neet 2023 but the cutoff was 610 for all india quota for medical colleges. So in the end I had to switch to private colleges in the counselling and hence by that time all seats in good private colleges were filled. I got admission in Katihar in last round of bihar state counselling.

- Hospital of our college is well equipped and doctors are very skilled and good
Dislikes
- Campus life is not upto the mark.. You will hardly find anyone in the campus after 7 at night
- Infrastructure is not very good and the fees in comparision is high

Admission is thorough NEET UG and NEET PG. Qualification cutt offs changes every year. There is 50% qouta for muslim students. In Admissiom process you need to submits documents like marksheets and other transfer certificates etc

It's a Muslim minority college. So have some reserve sits for Muslim student. One of the best college in academic. it's among the top medical College in Bihar. Minimum cutoff go upto 400 . It's an open college so all state student can take admission.
