However, the affiliated university ( Jamia Hamdard) offers a variety of online, ODL (Open and Distance learning), and diploma programs through its dedicated online portal. These programs are available in non-clinical fields such as business management, IT, allied health sciences, and various diploma/advanced diploma specializations, but do not include MBBS or MD/MS clinical courses.

Ques. How are the PhD programs offered at HIMSR?

Ans. PhD programs at HIMSR are full-time, campus-based research degrees focused on a wide range of health sciences and medical specialties. They are governed by the regulations of Jamia Hamdard University.

Eligibility for a PhD at HIMSR is a master's degree with 55% from a recognized university. Preference is given to candidates with qualifications such as UGC NET, CSIR JRF. Selection is through entrance tests/interviews as per Jamia Hamdard/HIMSR procedures. Applicants with a valid external fellowship (UGC NET-JRF) may get preference or exemption from the written test, but interviews are typically mandatory. The duration of a PhD at HIMSR depends on the study the candidate does. Official admission notification, including specializations, eligibility, and deadlines, is published on the HIMSR and Jamia Hamdard websites.

Ques. What are the criteria for NRI admission at HIMSR?

Ans. To secure an NRI MBBS seat at HIMSR, a candidate must qualify for NEET UG, then apply through MCC counseling ( Deemed University- NRI quota selection), meet the academic eligibility, and present valid documentation. The documents include:

I applied to DY patil mumbai, MGM Mumbai and NYU Noida and HIMSR. I got confirmed admission from DY patil at first and i went there first almost made my decision of doing my MBBS from there but then the accommodation was a problem for me and it made me change my whole decision entirely. Like i said the only thing wrong with DY Patil is the hostel and it made me change my decision from DY patil to HIMSR other than the accommodation, i was hella excited to study in bombay but life has to go on haha. The eligibility is 10+2 with PCB with good score i believe then you appear for NEET UG exam which is an entrance exam for medical and it is of 720 marks and the cut off always goes like high every year and according to the cut off you get your college be it government of private and honestly the only thing that matter is your hospital where you will do from internship from cuz it will give you more patient interaction and more experience and how to deliver all the qualities that a doc has

Admission:

First you've to qualify the NEET UG entrance with a very good score. Though, it's a private college yet the cut off is very high because of its quality education. After you qualify NEET, register for mcc counselling and if you qualify the cut off, then the college is alloted and we've to report to the college with some documents like class 10 and 12th marksheet, character certificate, adhar card, neet score card, rank card, admission letter and some other stuff. After reporting to the college, all you've to do is submit your documents and pay the fees through neft, rtgs or demand drafts. The college asks for 12 lakh fee per year in a single installment. The fee is charged for 5 continuous years. The overall experience has been great till now just because of the superb faculty and amazing seniors to interact with and take guidance from. The best thing about this college is it is the only private medical college in delhi, so the college always maintains its quality education. It has beenranked

So, the college has to be up to the mark. The admission process involves first NEET exam at all India level. Marks obtained in this will lead to formation of a merit list, a very fair process and then counselling happened after which seat was allotted.
