The curriculum thats MBBS is very vast and needs a practical approach too. The quality of being useful to people who are suffering. and ease them.
The thing that made me choose this course. Id say God chose me for this profession.
Gmc srinagar is the best college in the state with more than 7 associated hospitals with the college which makes clinical postings very fun. The facilty and the doctors are the best in the state the infrastructure of the collge is also very good
The seniors are helpful. The ratio of the boys to the girls is also 1 is to 1. There are 90 girls and 90 boys in the class. The praticals classes are taken very seriously by the professors and it helps in overall character development
The location of the college is also very good everything is accessible. It is located in the heart of the srinagr city. The beat thing about the college is it sports culture students are very active in sports and we have a whole week of sports
Dislikes
Somethings could be improved like hostel. Wr have limited number of seats in hostel which makes it difficult for the 1st and 2nd year students to get the hostel. Living outside is also very expensive
Winter is very harsh in srinagar and classes starts from 9 so it gets tough
Basketball court could be made better with lighting system
Course Curriculum Overview:
Medicine is very important field and its forever changing. We get real time exposire on how to deal with patients in clinical postings where we see common as well as rare diseases prevalent in our part of the world. Exams are difficult to pass the the passing criteria is 50 percent in pratcals and 50 percent in theory papers
This College has 7 attached hospitals for better clinical rotations.
There is no ragging or any kind of indiscipline in our college.
Dislikes

No matter the students religion, sex, gender, cast, colour ets students intract with each other nicely, discussing about their studies, career
The faculty of our college is one of the best faculty that I have ever seen they are very friendly and most importantly they are very loyal to their work.
Dislikes
The hostel facility are not that much good and also accomodation of students.
There is no canteen for college students so that they can lunch with healthy food.
The library should be upgraded and their should be a gym center so that students in addition to studies they remain physically fit.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Since the course MBBS was my dream and getting into this prestigious college was very good for me and I can get a chance to serve my society in future, this thing influenced me the most to choose the course. The suggestion for the teaching method is that instead of lectures if SGD (small group discussions) were possible they remain more effective than lectures. If lectures are give the teacher should use a board instead of ppt, this increases the retention of lecture in the class.
Our college provides the best clinical postings practice
Our college has good faculty expertise, teaching methods and mentor ship quality
Our campus in college provides us a good opportunity to interact with others
Dislikes
Our classrooms are like old fashioned and not so well maintained

Toxicity in every department almost sucks
Course Curriculum Overview:
Since doctor is being considered a noble profession and my parents wanted me to become a doctor that is why i chose this. Curriculum prepares us well to be a good doctor with having more practicals than theory but only if the college follows NMC guidelines fairly. I think this ppt should be only used for video purposes whenever demonstrating anything and fir theory there should be chalk and talk method. Usually there are 2 terminal exams and send up and lastly a proff exam . Difficulty level remains high not because of competition but syllabus
Mbbs is a very noble degree and I aspired to become a doctor from a very young age.
The faculty of the government medical college in Srinagar is highly qualified and excellent at teaching. The teacher-student ratio in every batch is almost 1:15. All the faculty members at least have a masters in their respective subjects and have experience of more than 15 years. The teaching method is presented based on and ensures maximum student participation.
In an academic year, 2 terminal examinations are held within the first 8 months and then a send-up exam is taken in the 10th month of the year followed by a prof exam at the end.
