There are postings that we attend. and the posting are for every one.. for every month we get a stipend of 12,500 rupees thats less than all states colleges.

Gmc srinagar follows the strict NMC curriculum which grants 1 year of compulsory internship consisting of clinical rotation in different clinical department's.The monthly stipend is 17k which may increase upto 22k within a year on approval of stipend increment.

The internship in our college is for 1 year and during this year we get a stipend of 13000 per month which is going to increase to 2500 in future. The role of an intern is to assist the PG and consultants on duty. Also, inturns get the opportunity to treat patients which improves their skills and experience and also get the opportunity to intract with consulting surgeons and other higher medical staff.

Government medical college Srinagar provides internship facilities to not only their own graduates but also foreign medical graduates who have cleared foreign medical graduate examinations held by the national medical council of India.
Intern doctors are paid 12,800 per month. The duration of the internship is 12 months and includes all the departments.

We are obliged to do rotatary internship of 12 months, where we have to work in almost every department, seeing patients and learning the experience of senior doctors. We are required to see the patients and prescribe them proper medications and facilities as per required for them, for whic our seniors also help us.

There used to be no concept of campus placement. And I guess it is not done in any medical college. Actually the field of medical science has a different system of recruitment and as such there seems to be no scope of campus placement.
