Gmc akola campus is the collaborative learning environment. Student often work together in groups and research project which enhances both academic and personal growth of students
Faculty members are highly experienced and their deep knowledge of subjects provide high quality education
Real world clinical experience in intership

Dislikes

Inadequate campus security, which may lead to safety concerns for staff and students
Poor lighting in certain areas of the campus.this can make student feel unsafe when walking alone on campus
Heavy duty medical staff roles is the risk of burnout

The mbbs curriculum is generally designed to be both comprehensive and relevant, though it's specific structure can vary depending on the country and medical college also . 'Gmc akola' a good college to pursue mbbs

Likes

The campus is very good and almost all facilities are provided
The college is having good faculties in every department and regular lectures are ongoing with proper schedule.
College also have attached hospital to it so students can easily go for clinical postings to conquer their skills

Dislikes

College is not having proper hygiene facilities
The water supply is too poor in the college
There is only one canteen where we can have our lunch. More canteens needed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The nobleness of the course that white apron is considered to be the dress of angels. It influenced me alot to choose the course. moreover there is very much scope in healthcare system so i can do better with my self and feel proud to my family abd most important i can treat patients humbly.i can serve to my nation.

My college story

Likes

Education is pretty good, the professors are highly educated internship opportunities are better
Hostel facilities are also available in the college campus for both boys and girls
There's no attendance regarding issue like for now but have to attend every lecture in third and fourth year

Dislikes

Hostels are not hygienic water availability problem we face everytime
College infrastructure is not well developed
College classes are small and pretty old which needs to renovate

Aspect of curriculum is that we should become a good doctor in future life we should operate patients in every condition patient life should be our first priority in our college we have two term exams and one prelims and then University exam

Opd of every department is heavy and very beneficial for medicos
Trauma / obgy patients are easy to available for each and every intern

Dislikes

College is good just one fault is that all t department and hostels are compact

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course of mbbs is one the hardest.And the curriculum of 4 years, differentiating 18 subjects each year with roughly 4 5 subjects every year is easy to grasp all knowledge and after that in internship all things to to apply is very important. And for getting confidence for further practice in future.

The college is of 2002 so it is quite old and all the departments are well established and the professors have a lot of experience.
Every year good events are organized by the college like ganesh Chaturthi , shivaji maharaj jayanti and sports tournament are held from college and organising committee
The hostel is very good, each room is shared among 3 people and the room is quite big. The hostel is located in the college campus and is in the center of the college city. It is easy to travel and is close to the market, railway or bus stand

Dislikes

The city is not developed, there are very few places to visit here.
The mess food is not very good, it is average and there is some toxicity in the college.
This is in the underdeveloped area of Maharashtra, so one has to travel a long distance for tour anf exploring thing

Placement Experience:

After final year or after 4.5 years of internship, you get a stipend of Rs. 18000 per month for one year All students of the batch get Stipend After completing my degree, I will start preparation for NEET pg course

GMC Akola - Positives n Negatives

Likes

Faculties of our college are cooperative. Hostel facility is available within the campus along with mess. A mini Gym is also available in hostel. Hostel and college premises are under proper security .
College has 2 libraries with proper air-conditioning. Hospital has good patient load , so our practice gets easier. Senior junior bond is well maintained. College is located at the centre of city, so all possible stuffs are easily accessible.
Hostellites are very proactive and all festivals are celebrated with full participation.

Dislikes

The campus is not much vast. College one two small grounds ,one for volleyball and one for basketball. For cricket and football we need to approach turfs aur other grounds.
Extra curricular activities are less focused.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The current curriculum is comprehensive based curriculum. Here practical knowledge is more important than bookish knowledge. So now spending more time in wards is of greater importance. Exams are held accordingly - 2 internals, 1 prilims and 1 University held by MUHS. Each exam is followed by practical examination. This curriculum will help to build good doctors rather than bookish doctors.

Clean maintained campus and hospital area
Hospital with all necessary facilities and superspeciality services are available
Well maintained hostel for students of ug and pg residents

Dislikes

College don't have any playground for cricket or football
No separate residential area for patients relatives in hospital

Course Curriculum Overview:

Studying medicine for to Crete healthier future that part really motivate me towards this profession Nmc guidelines focused more on clinical aspects accordingly teaching has to be done in timely bound way. Improvement is necessary in term of ensuring that all required facilities should available to all medical college 2 internals along with prelims has to be qualified for appearing university examination

Government is not giving so much attention to students, hostels are not so good and they do not provide water regularly. Management need to be improved, Academic need to be improved.

About college academic and extra curricular activities

Remarks:

Well college is quite good there is nothing to say much negative about your college but it is much crowded students don't get much facilities as they want and other extra curricular activities like social economic and political camps or anything else should be organised so that students are enrolled.

Every college has its pros and cons Since it is in periphery not much facility are available like grounds for sport and teachers and no proper guidance for postgraduation exam But intrens get work to more as compared to other colleges
