- The college life is really cool in Laurier because of lots of interesting activities like sports and gym.
- They provide world class facilities with all the amenities.
- The university infrastructure is amazing.
Dislikes
- They should increase the course offerings.
- The safety in college can sometimes be an issue because of budget cuts on safety precautions.
- The number of faculty per student is low.
- I found my accommodation via my classmates. They had a space for one more member so they contacted me.
- We lived in a two-bedroom apartment just 2 minutes from university in a 15 storied building. The monthly rent here was $450 and the facilities included were laundry and parking.
- I would strongly recommend contacting a rental agency to find the accommodation because the process is much more difficult otherwise. The most Indian students stay off campus and they find their accommodations nearby university where they share their bedroom with other students, normally they do to students in one bedroom.

- Professors are real good, they have real world knowledge like some of them are part time, they work in MNC's, some are from University of Waterloo.
- Access to wide range of tools, systems through the university.
- All the facilities, like gym, swimming, pool, student union floor, cafeteria, sports, etc.
Dislikes
- Paid Parking for students as well.
- There are a few foreign professors, who don't really speak or understand english that well, and it creates a communication gap with them.
- Housing is very expensive if you go through the university.
- Off-Campus, I lived with my family in Brampton, which was about a 100km away from the university. I bought a secondhandcar, and I drove it twice a week to the university.
- As per my observation, the monthly rent was 700-900 CAD/monthly, some included utilities and some did not.
- Challenges people faced were mostly with getting job to pay rent, or with lease agreements or landlords.
- Check the place and landlord thoroughly, also try to negotiate the best you can and don't for On-campus accommodation, and be aware of the frauds going on Facebook Marketplace.
- I lived 100kms away 100 kmhe university and Indians stay majorly in Kitchener and Brampton

- Good campus life.
- Plenty supported by the university especially by the wellness centre,
- Very vibrant international community with tons of events.
Dislikes
- Course selection is bad.
- The department of my program is not that helpful.
- 2-3 courses are online which does not make sense.
- I found accommodation through facebook marketplace. My rent was $700 which included laundry and utilities (electricity and water).
- I did not really face any challenges while finding accommodation, but when securing it, I had to make a decision within 2 days after viewing because of it's high demand.
- For future students, I would recommend to get a private room if possible because then you can focus a lot on your studies.
- There's Facebook marketplace, Kijiji and real estate agencies which rent out and if you find real estate agency which specializes in student housing (WCRI in my city, Waterloo), then you can find pretty cheap rooms near university campuses.
- My accommodation is around 4 KM away from the campus. Most of the Indian students live in the city of Kitchener, but some groups did live near the university but they had to share their rooms with at least 3-4 other people to afford those places.
