  • My Course was a mix of both, and the difficulty level of some of the subjects was very high but on the other hand, some of the subjects were very simple compared to my bachelor's in India.
  • Some courses were way to easy and felt like a waste of money like a subject Entrepreneurship, but some of them were worth the money like Parallel Computing, Practical Algorithm Design, etc.
  • The schedule i picked, there were never more than 2 classes a day, each of about 1hr15min, mostly in the afternoon and twice a week.
  • Average students were around 30.
  • In my course all were Indians on the orientation day, except for 5-10 people who were Chinese, African and Turkish.

Fees

  • You have to pay 9 - 11k CAD in fees each semester, and you need to pay about 26k CAD in advance before coming to Canada, this will all be adjusted in the fees. (This is like you pay for 3 semesters in advance.)
  • The total fees for 4 semesters are 35-40k CAD. And this includes your health card, you ID card (which is also the bus pass, only around the KWC region), and most of the university-related expenses.
  • Monthly expense for a single person -
    • Rent - 450-500 (shared room) / 900-1000 (private room) monthly
    • Utility - 50-60 / month
    • Grocery - 240-280 / month
    • Travel - free in KWC region
    • Miscellaneous - 100-150 / month
    • Total - about 1000 CAD

  • The program is a little difficult so expect to put around 3 hours per day at least for assignments, and about 2-3 hours for self-study. It was a very practical program and almost all assignments would be implementation of what we have learned.
  • The positive aspects were that you would get a very good practical entry-level understand of a ton of subjects like Machine Learning, Android App Development, parallel programming etc. which is very necessary and helps you decide your interest.
  • The negative aspect was the fact that everything was taught from scratch which is not good for a master's course

Fees

  • Per term tuition fee was $8700 when I started (it is $9300 now). Other than tuition fee there are incidental fees which include dental insurance, student insurance, bus pass fee, gym fee, and other misc. fees.
  • The fee is charged semester (or term) wise. One term is 4 months long.
  • The monthly expense is somewhere between $700 - $1000 depending on how much I eat out and from this, my rent was 700, 200 for groceries, 48 for phone plan, and around 50-100 for eating out.

Industrial Exposure: A lot of networking events for industrial exposure through business school clubs and events like DECA, Law panel, etc.Research wise: Not sure about research opportunities, not really known for research. Academics wise: The method of testing is multiple choice and not writing papers. Although it is easier, writing could be more useful in the future, but MCQs are good for establishing concepts.

I really enjoy some of the courses I am enrolled in. In Particular, I really enjoy all the digital media classes as it combines education with technology and helps me learn better. I also find it really interesting that online classes have great engagement.

Fees

It costs 20,000 Canadian dollars per year for an international student. This is not in addition to fees such as student union. We also pay extra for health insurance. There is also an extra charge if we miss appointments on campus. Often we find random charges and financial holds on our accounts

The course curriculum is interesting I feel like I'm always learning new things that will help me with my job in the future. I also love how it's set up and the slow increase of difficulty over the years so it's easy to adapt.

Fees

The fee structure is in the first year you pay for the mandatory one card and get the meal plan of your choosing on it. You pay for your tuition and residence. Other costs can come in like health care, student union. You can be charged for dropping a class later and other fees like textbooks.

I really like the course curriculum. I think that the choices that it offers are very unique and interesting. The one thing I do not like about it is the mandatory taking of the second data management class.

Fees

Laurier tuition is less than. Mostly it provides a basic fee of courses. Although you must pay more to use the health options, if you lose your student ID.

I like the course curriculum as it has a balance between science and the arts. Some of the classes I'm taking are math based ad science based but I also have the opportunity to work on my writing and communication skills which is important for future careers.

Fees

The fees are paid every semester online through a credit card. You pay for tuition and then on top of that about 20 different club fees that go towards helping out the school. Other charges include textbooks, a lab coat and a dissecting kit for me. I don't find the cost at my school very high compared to other schools which are nice in case you are responsible for your own tuition. Another fee that applies to me is rent, which I pay monthly from May-May every year I live here.

Honestly, I think Laurier has some interesting courses only for older years and first-year students are stuck with boring electives. For example, there is a poli sci class on president Donald Trump but you can only take it in 3rd year.

Fees

The fee structure is you pay your fees twice so basically once in September and then another time in January. Other charges have to be textbooks which are so expensive and you can?t even buy used ones bc each textbook has a code for an online class.

It's good, the course options are good, stats are hard and shouldn't be a required course for our program, but other courses are good I enjoy the history courses offered here and I am going on exchange next year.

Fees

It's about 4000$ per semester and there are a lot of other chargers, and I live at school and I pay $645 a month.

The course curriculum shows a wide variety of subject areas including arts and science. I'm currently taking sociology of physical activity, human physiology, ecotourism and the environment, athlete development and biomechanics.

Fees

First year I paid the largest amounts of money for tuition and residence costs. Although there were many other charges such as meal plan, bus pass and activity fees. There were many other little fees worked into the invoice for many different things.
