What students say about University of Technology Sydney

Likes

  • It was structured nicely, and all the course subjects and curriculum were presented to guide you through each year.
  • They also have a career hub where you can go and ask for internship opportunities, which are really great. I know many students who have gotten full-time jobs through it.
  • Because of my online studies, I dont have a very good idea of what the median salary is.
  • The campus is one of the best in the entire Sydney, equipped with modern infrastructure and the best facilities.
  • We have all the facilities here, ranging from lift access to the washing machine, WiFi, dryer, and 24/7 hot water availability.
  • The uni made it very easy to apply for. You all made it extremely accessible for me to view and/or change at any time, and it automatically transfers my fees to the HECS unless I elect another payment method before the census date.
  • They had a really good structure that helped to contact the person responsible for addressing concerns depending on the situation.
  • The university is very good because it is located in the center of the city.

There were few factors which I considered for deciding the University. First, UTS was leading university in Australia in Technology Sector. Second, UTS is located in the heart of the City (Central), which is very convenient. The course curriculum was one the best that I found amongst all the University I shortlisted.

For accommodation, school offers different lodges, it is not inside the campus. The accommodation is quite good but its a bit costly.

I chose the University for its ranking as the 11th youngest University in Australia as well as because it is one of the top business schools in Australia.

UTS ranks among the top universities along with its great infrastructure and top-notch professors. Such a scholarship of 25% fee waiver at such a reputed institution insisted I accept the admission letter. While other factors like a part-time job working hours and future job perspective inspired me to join the course.

UTS is the most progressive and socially active university . They are also very updated with their facilities in regards to technology. They have a huge international section so you feel as if you fit in no matter where you?re from. They have three main pillars- Aboriginal teachings, technology and social justice. I think these are very impressive and important to have as it helps create a better society. UTS is also very helpful to international students, offering great options for housing and help out where they can

Reputation and it has practical oriented course. There are career fairs which don't help that much to international students without PR. But there are a few ones which can definitely increase the chances of getting in without the PR. These would be usually small companies. It also has nearby Off-campus as it is cheap and it is near uni as well. The uni accommodation is quite expensive and I don't think many students can afford it.
