Students aspiring to enrol in UTS undergraduate courses must fulfill below below-mentioned requirements. Students who have completed a recognised pathway program equivalent to the University of Technology Sydney pathways are also eligible to apply.

Admission Requirements:

• Matriculation is the standard entry requirement to be eligible for admission. The equivalent of this qualification has been stated below:
  • Completion of UTS Foundation course or equivalent
  • Completion of one year of tertiary studies or an equivalent
• English language proficiency:
  • IELTS- 6.5
  • TOEFL-IBT- 79
  • PTE: 73-78
• Be at least 20 years of age as of March 1 of the year of intake

University of Technology Sydney Selection Criteria

The low acceptance rate at UTS is due to the highly selective admission policy and holistic evaluation of applications. To be eligible for admission, the university expects all applicants to have a minimum ATAR of 69.00 or better in high school. Also, just meeting the minimum admission requirements won't guarantee admission as the selection process is highly dependent on the space available. This means the university will continue to offer admission till the space gets filled. Make sure, the preference will be given to high-achieving students.
