  • I opted for off-campus accommodation, but I stayed with my cousin for the entire first semester so won't be able to answer this question in detail but after the first semester I tried to apply for the on-campus accommodations, but they were majorly on a waitlist, so I randomly checked flatmates and started going on inspections and finalised one!
  • Mine was around 30 mins walk from Campus
  • Also, for the recommendation, apps like flatmates and facebook marketplace are useful to find an accommodation within your budget.

I would say University of Sydney gives an excellent experience overall if we see holistically. The residents of the country play a very important role in our perception formation of how we like the place, and Australians are one of the warmest people I met.

The university is good and the academics is pretty updated. The courses are relevant to the industry and the labs and assignments help with the academics. Infrastructure is quite good, with all the facilities and labs.

Overall great experience. Technical courses don't have a lot of diversity in terms of students. Due to Covid classes were online so difficult to network and make new friends.

The University of Sydney is among the top ranked universities of the world who delivers some great post graduate courses. The policy to encourage critical and systems thinking in their teaching and research is really timely and most appropriate given the era that we live in. Most importantly, the graduate courses in project management they offer are unique owing to the general subject content that covers a wide range and the industry focus.

I was enrolled in New York University as a Business Technology Management student for 2 years. I was 17 at the time and felt pressured by my parents to go to a well-known university to study the same major they did. In New York, I quickly realized that I did not feel fulfilled doing my major, and struggled a lot with my mental health. Mental health is a taboo topic in my home country, Indonesia, and that fact alone fueled my life goal of helping people, and so I took a special interest in the way our brain functions in hopes of advancing science and medicine that would be useful for people in the future as well as removing the negative stigma on mental illnesses. I decided it was time to take a leap of faith and moved half way across the world to USYD as I heard very amazing things about their science and research faculty. So, here I am studying Neuroscience and Psychology in a university that I love.
