- Good QS ranking and working rights post completion of Masters.
Required Exams for Admission
The university is good and the academics is pretty updated. The courses are relevant to the industry and the labs and assignments help with the academics. Infrastructure is quite good, with all the facilities and labs.
Course Curriculum
The curriculum is updated, but the number of courses are little less for my liking. They are very oriented in power and signal processing, and limited courses for electronics.
Faculty
It's normally around 1:20. Professors are usually approachable online/offline both ways.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is excellent with very modern facilities and a lot of options for extracurricular activities.
Placement
For engineering students, software and coding jobs are abundant, power engineers and civil engineers are also in demand. The salary varies over a large spectrum. (55000-110000 AUD) However a big issue international students face is that of VISA. Companies prefer citizen and PR holders over VISA holders.
Accommodation
On campus accommodation available, but mostly Indian students share apartments with other students as it is a cheaper option.
Exams
Preferred IELTS- 6.5 No band below 6.0. I took TOEFL and my score was 105. For TOEFL minimum 20 required for all bands with higher score required for writing section. CV and SOP. Be genuine with your SOP. Not many other documents required for application. Mostly profile depended decision is taken. No other exam required for at least for course works engineering programs.
Fees
78400 AUD (2 YEARS).
Scholarship
Sydney International Student Award (20% Tuition waved) SOP required for application, contact agent for application.
