Flexibility in courses helps student to plan according to study load
Campus Life is vibrant and you can really have good experiance while meating people from diverse background
They have very greate business and student connect team where student can go and solve their query any time

They did not provide proper guide to the course as student has to go and clear with the team again and again.
RMIT is situated in the middle of the city as it has both positive and negative, if i have to talk about negative then ofcourse they don't have campus life.
I think it is too expensive according to their study pattern

I am not sure about the salary but usually from RMIT, as I had a conversation with my senior, students getting jobs within 6 months after completing their degree. But again, you have to find a job on your own; there are no such university placements; you have to apply daily and attend job fairs to secure a job in this competitive market.

There are a lot of online platforms where you can get good accommodations, such as Amber, University Living, etc.
If you are coming then only book accommodation with a trusted site if you don't have anyone here because here their are a lot of money scams on the marketplace regarding student accommodation facilities.

Prime location, Easy to travel and well connected to Public Transport.
Good student network. Amazing Indian communities.
Decent fees and reputation, Good scholarships as well.

Dislikes

Not a scenic campus, All buildings reminds me of NMIMS, Mumbai.
Lacks effort in the Student support union, You really have to be careful with every little thing.

Placement

The job market is down currently. The average salary comes to 70,000-90,000$ annually for a beginner. Students find full-time jobs only through networking. No such thing as campus placements happens there. Sometimes people get jobs with salaries over $150K but it’s very rare to happen.

Facebook Marketplace, Domain.au, and Realestate.com.au are a few of the websites people use for finding accommodations. Honestly, finding accommodation in Melbourne is a huge crisis right now. The prices have skyrocketed and people struggle to find affordable places. My recommendation would be to keep looking at these websites and not fall prey to Student accommodation representatives as the prices they offer are a lot more than the market prices.

Infrastructure Is really world class from classrooms to buildings, to monitors n student connect n all the other support is accessible and really good

Dislikes

campus is what I don't like since its a city campus it is scattered hence you can't gather with friends from different discipline as yours buildings are different hence you only get to connect with other people during social gathering or campus events

Placement

There's no placement cell as such but there is a job shop that helps you end to end from building resume to applying for jobs so it works out well for students rest for tech median salary hovers around 80-100k for freshers.

I did submit the SoP but for the visa process , regarding the key points , I mentioned about my course outcomes as well as my intention of coming back to India and mentioned opportunities that I would be eligible for in India once I complete this course , additionally I mentioned about why I chose Australia specifically and why this course , also I did talk about financial stability , these all points should be enough for a great sop. Rmit university is quite a tech focused university with a great brand name and in the heart of city , hence I chose this university as all the factors aligned for me and apart from that I had talked to some seniors and they had advised me to go for it when I was a bit confused between few universities . if I were to sum up my experience it has been really good , course is good rest location is really happening n good and overall everything you need Is available at campus so it works out really good .

The student life was great and interactive and the research infrastructure helped me focus more towards my interest.

Depends on the field. Creative and design field don't have any opportunities. There is usually no on campus recruitment but any technology and health care field would be easy to get a job.

Overall it was great. Since I studied during the covid era, I was mostly studying online.

The reason I chose RMIT University was because I was aware of the course curriculum they had to offer along with the modern infrastructure they possessed. Some of my acquaintances who live in Australia also suggested that this was a good university to attend and as my undergraduate degree was focused in Financial markets I felt a Masters degree in Finance would be the way to go.
The state of infrastructure is extremely good, coupled with state of the art technology. The faculty consist of distinguished professors from various fields. The amount of extra curricular activities that are hosted by the different clubs and societies make it a place to be.

Dislikes

I have not been at the university for quite a long time. It has only been a semester since I started studying at this university. It would be very difficult for me to pinpoint what I dislike about the university but of the top of my head, providing avenues of internship opportunities even to first year students would seem a little progressive.

Placement

As I am a first year student I have limited knowledge about the placement opportunities that RMIT has to offer. But one thing I know is you will get placement assistance if you ask for it.

Studying at RMIT has been pretty good. The infrastructure, faculty and the networking opportunities that you get is really good. It all depends on where you want to study and work, but in my personal opinion, RMIT is one of the good universities in Victoria, if not in Australia.

Review about RMIT university

RMIT is a well renowned university, i had a few known who already did their Masters from RMIT, I researched about it and felt like the course offers what i was looking for, the fee was in my budget too.
RMIT is a well known university, the teachers were amazing, helpful, the university have a multicultural environment. Once you become a student you can get a lot of extra perks, free access to the biggest library in Victoria, tons of certification courses for free and a lot more.

Dislikes

If you live far from the city and you can’t get your timetable perfectly managed it would be a difficult to commute. The timetable works on firstcome first serve basis so if you miss the opportunity you’ve to travel a lot. And that’s gonna waste a lot of your time. They don’t entertain more than 15 students per class so you need to be fast to get yourself enrolled into classes for 2 days per week which makes the commute worth.

Placement

Companies usually don't visit campuses here, you either get an opportunity through job fairs, internships, job shops or you can apply online through LinkedIn, seek.

I loved it, you meet amazing people coming for different culture, different backgrounds, different work experience and you learn a lot. It just depends on you and how much you want to invest.

Based on my thorough research, I was firm that I want to pursue Master of Data Science and that to in Melbourne city. After that I had applied in four Melbourne based universities and got acceptance from all of them. Then, I had skimmed down the list based on university ranking, academic structure, location and amenities.

Dislikes

I completed my graduation during the time of Covid19, which was entirely different phase and being an international student, I was expecting decent amount of assistance during that phase from the university. In terms of fees reduction, providing aid to work from setup, mental assistance but none of these things were considered.
The most important point is that they need to provide guidance to the students after graduation to get placement. It's really hard to get job especially for the students who are freshers.

Placement

There is no direct placement in the campus, we have to look by ourselves. That's the thing need to be given foremost priority.

University experience was pretty good but after the graduation it's really hard to find a job. No guidance or assistance is provided.

After the WIL project we were given the opportunity to continue with our project even after the semester if anyone of us interested, this was offered by our industry and there were some offers via linked in as well.

It was really great experience, even though most of my studies were done online due to Covid, I7 met some great friends and lecturers were really amazing and they were always ready to help us and We got some great industrial experience via our WIL project as well, overall a great experience.

It was the only university with Work integrated learning and it is the best university in Victoria.

Placement

As of placement is concerned, I had to apply by myself as no universities have a concept of college placement. Being a student of RMIT university, acted as a brand when I applied for jobs. I was able to secure a job with one month after my graduation. it also depends on how well you can sell yourself. Currently Australia is in demand for man power. Hence, a good place to work and explore your career.

The tutors are knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. They not only lecture you on your course, but also give you time to do your own self-study. Practical study is prevalent in many RMIT courses, preparing students for their chosen careers. Extremely multicultural. It's difficult to find work there (as it is everywhere), but as I previously stated, practical placements are common at RMIT. Perfectly located in the heart of the CBD, accessible to both city dwellers and suburbanites. There are many amenities on campus, such as free breakfasts, campus festivals, and a multi-level library with stunning city views. If you live in Melbourne and want to study, I highly recommend RMIT. It will not let you down.

Everything of my UNI was perfect. Issues were addressed. Special care taken on health and wellbeing. A very balanced and informative course structure. Definitely one will come out as a more confident person.
