- Flexibility in courses helps student to plan according to study load
- Campus Life is vibrant and you can really have good experiance while meating people from diverse background
- They have very greate business and student connect team where student can go and solve their query any time
Dislikes
- They did not provide proper guide to the course as student has to go and clear with the team again and again.
- RMIT is situated in the middle of the city as it has both positive and negative, if i have to talk about negative then ofcourse they don't have campus life.
- I think it is too expensive according to their study pattern
Campus Life
- RMIT has a total of 2 campuses and 80 buildings, in which they have a library, all the sports, medical, gym, etc. We have a club called RUSU, which is basically a student union that organises all the events at the university and also solves student queries. Moreover, there are lots of clubs for instance, Indian Club, Asian clubs, etc.
Accommodation
- There are a lot of online platforms where you can get good accommodations, such as Amber, University Living, etc.
- If you are coming then only book accommodation with a trusted site if you don't have anyone here because here their are a lot of money scams on the marketplace regarding student accommodation facilities.

- Prime location, Easy to travel and well connected to Public Transport.
- Good student network. Amazing Indian communities.
- Decent fees and reputation, Good scholarships as well.
Dislikes
- Not a scenic campus, All buildings reminds me of NMIMS, Mumbai.
- Lacks effort in the Student support union, You really have to be careful with every little thing.
Campus Life
- My University has three campuses. The city campus, which holds mostly IT-related courses, is the best when it comes to having events. It has an amazing library with ample resources to study from. We have a Student union that conducts events every Thursday. It often has free Beer & food, DJ and some small fun activities.
- The RMIT Indian club is the biggest Indian club out there in Melbourne. It conducts amazing events and celebrates almost every festival, so it makes sure we feel at home. The university also runs free dance, acting and jujutsu classes, etc, which are fun to drop by once in a while.
Accommodation
Facebook Marketplace, Domain.au, and Realestate.com.au are a few of the websites people use for finding accommodations. Honestly, finding accommodation in Melbourne is a huge crisis right now. The prices have skyrocketed and people struggle to find affordable places. My recommendation would be to keep looking at these websites and not fall prey to Student accommodation representatives as the prices they offer are a lot more than the market prices.

- Infrastructure Is really world class from classrooms to buildings, to monitors n student connect n all the other support is accessible and really good
Dislikes
- campus is what I don't like since its a city campus it is scattered hence you can't gather with friends from different discipline as yours buildings are different hence you only get to connect with other people during social gathering or campus events
Campus Life
Campus is a bit of a downside as its the city campus hence building are scattered so you won't get a campus vibe , rest the events are good every other day you have an event on mostly every festival and for extracurricular activities there are great clubs to take part in as per your interest.
Accommodation
The university doesn't have its housing, but there are private players like Unilodge n Scape that offer great accommodations near the university.

- It had the best course in my interest and was in the prime location.
- The student life was great and interactive and the research infrastructure helped me focus more towards my interest.
Dislikes
- Nothing much really.
Campus Life
It was amazing, student life was one of the best. They had many events (covered all ethnic occasion), elections and meet and greet events. Not just for student to student but also student to meet industry professionals.
Accommodation
Living cost is a lot, the accommodation right now would be min 1000 AUD per month and other expenses would cost around 600-800 dollars per month. Everything is super convenient though.

- The reason I chose RMIT University was because I was aware of the course curriculum they had to offer along with the modern infrastructure they possessed. Some of my acquaintances who live in Australia also suggested that this was a good university to attend and as my undergraduate degree was focused in Financial markets I felt a Masters degree in Finance would be the way to go.
- The state of infrastructure is extremely good, coupled with state of the art technology. The faculty consist of distinguished professors from various fields. The amount of extra curricular activities that are hosted by the different clubs and societies make it a place to be.
Dislikes
- I have not been at the university for quite a long time. It has only been a semester since I started studying at this university. It would be very difficult for me to pinpoint what I dislike about the university but of the top of my head, providing avenues of internship opportunities even to first year students would seem a little progressive.
Campus Life
RMIT has a vibrant campus life, with all kinds of events happening around the year. There are a lot of clubs which have been formed and you can choose the right club for you and join them. The infrastructure is really advanced and the troubleshooting team is also well versed with the different types of problems one can face on campus.
Accommodation
There are a lot of student accommodation options which are available for students in the CBD. As you move on to the suburbs, there are generally one off houses with varying number of bedrooms. Depending on where you live, your average rent can vary between 600 to 1200 AUD per month or even upwards.

- RMIT is a well renowned university, i had a few known who already did their Masters from RMIT, I researched about it and felt like the course offers what i was looking for, the fee was in my budget too.
- RMIT is a well known university, the teachers were amazing, helpful, the university have a multicultural environment. Once you become a student you can get a lot of extra perks, free access to the biggest library in Victoria, tons of certification courses for free and a lot more.

- If you live far from the city and you can’t get your timetable perfectly managed it would be a difficult to commute. The timetable works on firstcome first serve basis so if you miss the opportunity you’ve to travel a lot. And that’s gonna waste a lot of your time. They don’t entertain more than 15 students per class so you need to be fast to get yourself enrolled into classes for 2 days per week which makes the commute worth.
Campus Life
They have a lot of extra stuff, a lot. Clubs, events, certifications. Biggest library in Victoria, amazing research facilities. You name it and they got it.
Accommodation
I rented out a place close to public library and stayed there until my course finished. It was 700$ per month. But the rental market is pretty expensive and tough now.

- Based on my thorough research, I was firm that I want to pursue Master of Data Science and that to in Melbourne city. After that I had applied in four Melbourne based universities and got acceptance from all of them. Then, I had skimmed down the list based on university ranking, academic structure, location and amenities.
Dislikes
- I completed my graduation during the time of Covid19, which was entirely different phase and being an international student, I was expecting decent amount of assistance during that phase from the university. In terms of fees reduction, providing aid to work from setup, mental assistance but none of these things were considered.
- The most important point is that they need to provide guidance to the students after graduation to get placement. It's really hard to get job especially for the students who are freshers.
Campus Life
They had number of clubs and groups for various activities. Campus amenities were of international level in terms of sports, wifi, library, digital library and many more things.
Accommodation
It was on sharing basis and approx. cost would be $1000-1500/month including rent, food, transport and other basic things.

There were lot of extracurricular activities, and various events and lot of clubs if students are interested.
Accommodation
I was staying at a unilodge which I shared with another RMIT student and we each had to pay $596 per month.

- It was the only university with Work integrated learning and it is the best university in Victoria.
Campus Life
Unlike other university campuses, it is not gated or surrounded by walls - city campus life is similar to Melbourne city life. The university is easily accessible by public transportation and includes amenities such as libraries, study spaces, wi-fi, daycare, and a thriving gymnasium. To fulfil the requirements of today's university life, RMIT's facilities and buildings are constantly evolving and expanding. New award-winning buildings, such as the Swanston Academic Building and the Design Hub, and outdoor recreational spaces, such as the Alumni Courtyard and the A'Beckett Urban Square, can be found throughout campus. The most thing that student like at the RMIT is the free food event during weekdays, join a club RMIT has over 100 student clubs, societies and collectives to choose from. Clubs are a great way to meet new friends, develop new skills and connect with people who share your interests. You can even start your own club. -Activities and events RMIT Link runs regular programs and events on, and around, every campus throughout the semester. Experience Melbourne with a walking tour, see a movie between classes, discover new bands or represent RMIT at a community event. If you want to explore further afield, we do offer group trips and tours led by fully trained student volunteers to destinations such as The Great Ocean Road, Wilsons Promontory, and the Phillip Island Penguin Parade. -Sport and Fitness At the Melbourne City campus, RMIT City Fitness offers a fully-equipped gym with a range of fitness programs and activities, and at the Bundoora campus, RMIT Sports Centre has a wide range of facilities including multi-purpose courts and a fully-equipped gym.
Accommodation
Student Accommodation $180 to $460 per week Groceries and Eating Out $80 to $280 per week Travelling $15 to $55 per week Phone and Internet: $15 to $55 per week Entertainment $80 to $150 per week Melbourne has the second-highest average rental prices in Australia after Sydney. However, it’s still possible to find affordable student accommodation in the city, especially if you opt for a studio or shared apartment. Choosing a place where the cost of utilities is included in the rent can help reduce your overall accommodation costs.
