- campus is what I don't like since its a city campus it is scattered hence you can't gather with friends from different discipline as yours buildings are different hence you only get to connect with other people during social gathering or campus events
I did submit the SoP but for the visa process , regarding the key points , I mentioned about my course outcomes as well as my intention of coming back to India and mentioned opportunities that I would be eligible for in India once I complete this course , additionally I mentioned about why I chose Australia specifically and why this course , also I did talk about financial stability , these all points should be enough for a great sop. Rmit university is quite a tech focused university with a great brand name and in the heart of city , hence I chose this university as all the factors aligned for me and apart from that I had talked to some seniors and they had advised me to go for it when I was a bit confused between few universities . if I were to sum up my experience it has been really good , course is good rest location is really happening n good and overall everything you need Is available at campus so it works out really good .
Course Curriculum
the course is really relevant to the ever-changing tech industry, our curriculum is updated every year since it's an AI era hence it's really good as we always learn new things that too using the latest tools in the form of projects.
Faculty
Faculty is mostly good , they assist you well in understanding the concepts and help in excelling the course as well as provide additional resources to uplift your knowledge in the concept apart from what is asked in assignments .
Campus Life
Campus is a bit of a downside as its the city campus hence building are scattered so you won't get a campus vibe , rest the events are good every other day you have an event on mostly every festival and for extracurricular activities there are great clubs to take part in as per your interest.
Placement
There's no placement cell as such but there is a job shop that helps you end to end from building resume to applying for jobs so it works out well for students rest for tech median salary hovers around 80-100k for freshers.
Accommodation
The university doesn't have its housing, but there are private players like Unilodge n Scape that offer great accommodations near the university.
Exams
-My Scores: IELTS 7.0, Speaking - 7 writing - 6 reading - 8 listening - 7.5. -I did not have any rounds of interviews since my university was categorised as level 1; hence, I got my offer letter, n coe without any GRE or entrance test; additionally my visa also I got it granted In 10 days by just submitting the required documents.
Fees
The tuition fee is approximately $114k AUD for a 3-year bachelor's program without a scholarship; it includes 288 units, that is, 6 semesters and 48 units per sem.
Scholarship
I did receive the Future Leaders Scholarship, which offers a 20% deduction in tuition fees every year throughout the course; I automatically got this offered with my application as I met the academic requirements for the scholarship, which are scoring 80% or more in your 10th and 12th standard.
