I loved it, you meet amazing people coming for different culture, different backgrounds, different work experience and you learn a lot. It just depends on you and how much you want to invest.

Course Curriculum

10

They have recently updated the course so it’s pretty much what you need to stay on track, they do it in every few years.

Exams

The requirements were pretty basic, 70% in your secondary and higher secondary and an IELTS test. The bands they require for the IELTS test were 6.5-7 overall with not less than 6 in any. SOP- you need to tell them about your background, where you come from, why you choosing Australia, why RMIT, what potential do you see in this course, what do you expect from the course. I had a interview round after I submitted my SOP, asked general questions.

Placement

9

Companies usually don't visit campuses here, you either get an opportunity through job fairs, internships, job shops or you can apply online through LinkedIn, seek.

Internship

No, I didn’t go for the internship because of covid but I did project for Darebin city council.

Fees

It was somewhere around 60,000 AUD after scholarship.

Scholarship

Yeah I received a student scholarship, 20% off on the fee, but you have to maintain 70% or above to continue or they don't offer you the benefit in your next semester.

Faculty

10

The professor are amazing, helpful and well experienced, they come from different backgrounds with extensive experience in their respective fields. The faculty to student ratios is 1:15. Which I think is pretty decent.

Campus Life

They have a lot of extra stuff, a lot. Clubs, events, certifications. Biggest library in Victoria, amazing research facilities. You name it and they got it.

Hostel

10

I rented out a place close to public library and stayed there until my course finished. It was 700$ per month. But the rental market is pretty expensive and tough now.
