  • UTS has one main campus near Central Station, super well-connected. Infrastructure is modern, and the new Tech Lab and Engineering building are great for project work. There are 200+ student clubs and societies covering everything from coding and robotics to cultural and sports clubs.
  • The library is open almost 24/7 during exams and has good study spaces. Sports facilities include the UTS Fitness Centre with a gym, pool, and group classes. Plenty of cultural events, hackathons, networking nights, and career fairs happen throughout the semester. Research facilities are solid too, especially in engineering and AI.

Fees

  • For international students, the Master of Engineering Management is around AUD 20,000 to 25,000 per semester. Total course fees come to approximately AUD 50,000 to 70,000 for the full 2-year program.

  • I got to live in their student accommodation, which was right next to their wonderful campus. There are over 100s of different clubs that organise multiple activities throughout the semester.
  • The library is world-class, and I would often study there late at night, or sometimes all night.

Fees

  • I paid 60,000 AUD roughly after a 25% scholarship.

• I think UTS has 3 campuses in Sydney, I studied in the main campus which is based in Broadway, Sydney (city). The other two are based in Botany and Moore Park( I might be wrong).

• UTS had all the facilities a student could think of, such as the Library, Sports Club, and medical facilities.

• UTS Oktoberfest, new students welcome and graduation ceremony are the major festivals. Every month they organise an event.

• UTS has an International Student Society , UTS Sports Club, Music Club etc.

Fees

• I did not stay in the University Hostel as it was very expensive (atleast 300 AU$ per week in 2018) . So I decided to stay in suburbs which are bit far from the city and affordable to rent.

• My total fees was AU$72000 for two years. I used to pay AU$18000 per semester. If you have studied any subject which is going to appear in your post graduate studies, you can apply for credit which will help you to save some money as you do not have to pay the fees of that particular subject

• I used to stay in a shared accommodation as it helped to reduce my rent. If you have a good understanding with your flatmates, you could also share your overall expenses (rent and groceries)

There's always events happening in Uni which makes it very fun and fresh. There are many clubs in which students can join based on their interests. There's free WiFi for UTS students which is available and strong in any nook and corner of the campus. The UTS library has multiple floors and a plethora of books (both paperback and digital).

Overview

There were few factors which I considered for deciding the University. First, UTS was leading university in Australia in Technology Sector. Second, UTS is located in the heart of the City (Central), which is very convenient. The course curriculum was one the best that I found amongst all the University I shortlisted.
