How to Register for MAT September 2026

All registrations are completed online at the official AIMA portal. Complete the steps below before the last date for your chosen mode.

1. Visit mat.aima.in and click Register Now for the MAT September 2026 session.
2. Enter your name, email address, date of birth and mobile number to create an account. Your login credentials are sent to your registered email.
3. Log in and fill the application form with your personal, academic and communication details.
4. Select your preferred test mode (PBT, CBT, IBT or a combination) and your preferred exam city.
5. Upload a recent passport-size photograph and scanned signature in the format and size specified by AIMA.
6. Pay the application fee through net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI.
7. Submit the form and save or print the confirmation page as proof of your registration.

No changes to test mode or exam city are permitted after submission. Choose your mode and city carefully before paying the fee.

MAT September 2026 Application Fee

The fee for MAT September 2026 depends on the number of modes you select. Registering for both PBT and CBT at once costs less than two separate registrations. The confirmed fee structure is below.

The application fee is non-refundable once paid. AIMA does not issue refunds for test mode changes, cancellations or no-shows on exam day. Complete your payment only after confirming your mode, city and exam slot.

Late Application for MAT September 2026

As of the current AIMA notification, no official late registration window has been announced for MAT September 2026. AIMA sometimes opens a brief late window after the standard deadline for select modes, but this is not guaranteed for every session and has not been confirmed for September 2026.

If you miss the PBT last date of September 7, here are your options:

• Register for CBT: CBT registration stays open until September 14, giving you a full extra week after PBT closes.
• Check IBT slots: IBT operates on a slot-based system and later slots may still be open. Log in to mat.aima.in and check available IBT dates.
• Wait for MAT December 2026: If all September 2026 windows have closed, AIMA conducts the next session in December. Register as soon as the December 2026 form goes live.

MAT September 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Confirm the following before you register for MAT September 2026:

• You must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university. AIMA sets no minimum percentage; individual B-schools fix their own academic cut-offs.
• Final-year graduation students can register on a provisional basis. Your degree result must be available before the B-school you target begins its admission process.
• There is no age limit for MAT.
• There is no restriction on the number of times you can appear for MAT across sessions.
