  • I have opted for on-campus graduate housing. I have used WhatsApp groups for finding accommodation and a roommate. I live in a 2BHK townhouse. My monthly rent is $455. Electricity and wifi are separate. Water, laundry, and parking are included in the rent. Finding a roommate was the most challenging part.
  • I have used the Indian Students Association WhatsApp group to find my roommate. WSU also provides a roommate finder website for this purpose. Graduate students may apply to WSU housing through the website. My accommodation is a 10-minute walk from the campus. WSU transport also runs buses to campus every 8 minutes on my route.

  • Yes, online platforms is a good way to find accommodation; monthly rents could be somewhere between $400 and $1000 per person in a 2 BHK; however, this may drop down if more people share apartments

It has been an amazing experience so far at WSU. I hope to contribute more to the university while learning.

It felt like the right choice for the right price. I also felt like I would find a good community there and be able to have a good college experience. The school also gave me a good scholarship when I first applied.
