Spread over a lavish area in Indianapolis, Butler University’s campus life is much beyond mere classrooms. There are more than 150 student organizations to help students engage in extracurricular activities on the campus, a host of clubs and sports offerings for the physical and mental well-being of students, as well as volunteering and leadership programs to help students grow beyond their bookish knowledge and develop their personalities.

Butler University Accommodations

• The Irvington House was introduced by the university in partnership with American Campus Communities in 2018 and has 647 beds and a suite-style residential facility. The amenities include a cardio fitness room, computer kiosk, recreation centre and social lounge, outside study lounges, laundry and entry lounge.
• Also introduced in 2018, the Fairview House has 633 beds which are predominated for sophomore students. Its amenities are welcome to desk and entry lounge, recreation and gaming lounge, media lounge, social space, laundry and Cardio Fitness Room.
• The various apartments available are Apartment Village, Butler Terrace, South Campus Apartments and University Terrace. All the apartments come furnished with a bed, desk and dresser. Other amenities differ depending upon the type of apartment you choose.
• The Residence Life Office promotes and manages a healthy environment on campus and its staff members are responsible for the management of BU’s three residence halls and two apartments.
• The housing charges for the residence halls can range from 2,860 USD to 5,205 USD per semester. For the apartment rooms, the charges start from 4,125 USD to 5,490 USD per semester.
