Economics courses at Northeastern University cover international trade; the behavior of families, firms, and industries in the market economy; the environmental costs of growth; and the economic aspects of natural resources, poverty, health, labor market discrimination, trade unions, etc..
You may pursue a BA, a BS, or a minor in economics. In addition, as an economics student in your junior year, you may qualify for entrance to the PlusOne program, which combines a BA or BS with an MS in economics. The department also offers combined majors with business administration, international business, computer science, cybersecurity, data science, environmental and sustainability sciences, history, international affairs, mathematics, etc.
