• The university brings recruiters to the Career fairs. But it's not very useful for international students. Some students do find it useful.

• Rent for a 3 BHK Flat is typically 3000 USD a month. If 6 people share it'd be 500 each; that's generally the case (8-9 people also live in many cases). Other Utilities would be 200 $. Miscellaneous expenses would be 200-300 USD a month

• Telegram, whatsapp groups. Monthly $2500 for a 2B2B. All facilities are included. Just want to mention that Boca Raton is expensive and has a high cost of living.

• Very few students secure on-campus jobs within 6 months.
• Usually students get paid less than 15 dollars per hour.
• Online applications are mostly neglected, as a lot of people apply for jobs, the best way to get an on-campus job is to network, talk to people and build a network. Honestly, most of the time someone who is already working will refer their friends and they get that job.
• Placements mostly depend on your own skillset and the job market situation, a lot of my seniors have secured good jobs in good companies, while a lot of students are still struggling to find a job.
• Companies do not directly hire from the University. Although job fair is frequently attended by companies like Ford, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, etc.

• Initially I went for on-campus housing; I just reached out to the housing department through email and luckily they had a spot for me. Usually for grad students there is no on-campus housing.
• My monthly rent was 1300 including everything (water, electricity, etc.).
• Initially I faced a lot of delays because there was no way you could apply for on-campus housing as a grad student but the overall process was smooth.
• I would suggest going for off-campus housing, as it is more affordable.
• Almost all of the Indian students stay off campus. I am now living off campus, which is around 2 miles from the University.

• Handshake is a college platform for job search and many campus placement drives every month.

• On campus 5500$ per semester with meal plan, off campus housing very near to FAU in community apartments very safe and affordable with all amenities at 370$ rent and 300$ for other expenses.

I am not sure how many students are placed or how many research studies that are available, but we use Handshake to manage all of this information.

I love my university. I spend a lot of my time sitting by the water watching the birds fly over my head. The faculty especially in my department of social work are very understanding and they work with you. They listen to you and try to provide the best care they can, so that you can be successful.

The placements and job opportunities at Florida Atlantic University are very good. I have seen a heard from many graduates and upcoming graduates that they already have a job or they are finding it very easy to find a job.

I chose this college because of the location as well as the programs I was looking into. I also chose Florida Atlantic University because I needed a change of scenery and I was accepted right after I received my Associates in Arts.

I opted for this college because of its location I wanted to be close to home enough that I could drive to school and live at home on a daily basis. Also, the cost of a local school was much cheaper than any other.
