What Students Say
Likes
- I like the environment during football season and basketball season because my college is ranked really high and all the games are pretty intense.
- I appreciate how everyone is part of everything and you rarely see campus empty unless it is during break.
Dislikes
- I dislike how some of the buildings are much older and need repairs.
- I understand that they want to keep some history, but at certain points these damages can hurt students.
I chose this initially for the nursing program but changed my mind. I knew this college was a great school in general, especially well-known for engineering. I decided to stick to the psychology program since it was most interesting to me. I definitely think that the campus is very diverse and that there are a lot of opportunities for students to really find what they are in college for. There are many avenues that students can connect with other students on and several resources that are typically free of charge.
Course Curriculum
I like the layout of everything. From being hands-on to online lectures and in-person lectures, my professors were very helpful and informative.
Faculty
For beginner prerequisite courses, the student-to-instructor ratio is higher. There are typically more students in a lecture hall. Once you get to the higher level courses, the student population decreases per class
Campus Life
There are several clubs and facilities available for students. There is a fitness facility that is free for all students and several organizations that cater to different interests.
Placement
There is a career help office on campus that specializes in finding jobs and internships for students.
Accommodation
