I have applied to the University of Michigan, Flint, Florida Atlantic University, University of West Georgia, and Dayton University, and I got confirmation from all the universities except the University of West Georgia. First I got rejection mail and after a couple of months I have received mail from that university and it mentioned that you need to send a letter with not less than 500 words explaining why we should give you admission. I immediately sent a mail soon after I got approval from this university as well. The admission process was easy, fast and thoroughly; they are checking each and every document that we provide. Now the eligibility criteria is that we must have IELTS or Duolingo and a good GRE score not less than 200. and also they are asking for WES (need to send our degree transcripts via authorised world education services to the Columbus State University). Fall intake 2022, factors like my education background and considered my GRE and TOEFL score. The process took around 4 months. Initially, I uploaded the documents of the bank statement and SOP; once those are verified, they will ask us to upload all skills-related documents. Once we upload all the documents again, it takes like 2 months as a reviewing process. Finally, everything is done, and they will issue the i-20. I had applied to the following universities: Purdue University West Lafayette - Admitted Purdue University Fort Wayne - Admitted Purdue University Northwest - Admitted University of Southern California - Admitted Georgia Tech - Admitted TAMU - Rejected Michigan State University - Waitlisted Arizona State University - Admitted I was waitlisted for Michigan State University and later I got an admit but that was too late TAMU rejected me the reason was that I did not meet the course criteria I was applying for. I applied for Cybersecurity program and my past education was in software engineering technology and management. I chose this college because of all the factors I had in mind: the fees, the university course they offered, the weather, the university ranking, and the area. It fit in my checklist and that is why I chose this university. The admission process was pretty simple; after GRE, TOEFL or IELTS examination apply for the required course or program you want. we have three universities: the main campus, Wayne, and Northwest. I chose Northwest, but I was later admitted to all other campuses too. And after applying, once you get an email about the decision, all the next steps are properly explained. Most of the job is done by the international department of administration but we need to provide them with all the list of documents they ask us for. They also have good housing available or you can also choose to stay off campus. The university accepts IELTS, GRE and TOEFL. I personally gave GRE and TOEFL. The minimum required score is for GRE - Verbal 146, quantitative 144, and analytical 4.0. (but GRE is also optional but highly recommended) for TOEFL - 80 overall, with minimum bands of 19 for reading, 18 for speaking, and 14 for listening. Overall, the admission experience, or even after completing my 3rd semester, the experience is really good. The staff members are really helpful and cooperative. The transition was quite smooth for me. And I would love to get in touch with students who have personal doubts because here I talked very generically. I chose this program for the engineering ranking and the fact that Purdue is a well known name.
