Scholarship

  • Names of scholarships: provost assistantships and dean’s scholarships (half of the fee is waived) have limited seats.
  • Most of my friends and batchmates received 10%, 20%, or 30% off the tuition depending on how early they applied for admission and merit.
  • I did not receive any scholarship. I think 20-30% receive scholarships every year by 10%, 20%, and 30%.

Scholarship

  • I received the scholarship in the admission process itself. Once we accept the admission, our application is sent to the scholarship team who grant scholarships.
  • I received a scholarship for 20% of the tuition fee.
  • Some of my friends received scholarships in their 3rd semester where they were granted almost 90%.
  • Usually almost everyone receives the initial scholarship based on their profile.

Overview

I chose this university because this is one in my budget range and has a good reputation among all the admits I received. I would rate an overall of 7 for 10. The campus has good resources like labs, libraries, a career development centre, and many more to use for the sake of students. I am very passionate about data-driven decision making so I opted for Business analytics as my major.

Overview

In term of curriculum it was good but in terms of placements it was not so good you need to improve your skills and job search by yourself. My main factor was scholarship and easy admission without any rejection.

Overview

It was a good experience. A good place is not its location but its people. I was fortunate to have met good friends and good professors which made my time in Connecticut special. I have gained immense valuable knowledge working on campus and meeting new people from different educational backgrounds.

Overview

Firstly, the University of New Haven is my safe option. I applied to different universities like Ucinn, SUNY Buffalo and George Mason. Although I got admitted to UCinn and RIT, considering the fee factor, I opted for UNH. But I regret coming here. It's not a happening university. High competition for On-campus and hated the scholarship process. This is the procedure for admission: Three LORs, SOP, GRE score ( not mandatory), IELTS. Apply on the college website, and usually, we get the decision in 2-4 weeks.

Scholarship

I specifically didn't apply for a scholarship. While applying for the graduate program, they gave us the dean scholarship ( I don't know what the basis was; firstly, I thought it was merit, but after coming here, most of my friends who had very less cgpa and were completely from different field got 50% scholarship).

"SOP: General idea of why you’re pursuing the field, why you’re applying to this university, what makes you a perfect fit. LOR, & Resume" Scholarship, networking opportunities, location (close to newyork and boston), faculty (excellent for my course) It has been great. I love the application based nature of my program. There is a huge indian population which may make it easier for people who’re more comfortable with indians. Yale University is a 10 minute drive from the university this means we’re exposed to a lot of events, opportunities from Yale.

Scholarship

50% scholarship. No special application, awarded dean’s scholarship with offer letter.
