"SOP: General idea of why you’re pursuing the field, why you’re applying to this university, what makes you a perfect fit. LOR, & Resume" Scholarship, networking opportunities, location (close to newyork and boston), faculty (excellent for my course) It has been great. I love the application based nature of my program. There is a huge indian population which may make it easier for people who’re more comfortable with indians. Yale University is a 10 minute drive from the university this means we’re exposed to a lot of events, opportunities from Yale.
Course Curriculum
Great. A lot of applied component. Cannot move on to a PHD after. It prepares you to work in the field.
Faculty
I don’t know the ratio but the faculty and staff are very connected. We have a great rapport with them, they host events and parties at local bars all through the semester to hang out together. They are very involved in every student’s life. Professor Eric Marcus, Professor Maurice Cayer & Professor Elif Kongar left a huge impact.
Campus Life
It’s great, not too good. A small private university. But hosts most indian festivals which is great.
Placement
I’ve little to no idea as I am still in my first year. But they host a career fair every semester involving most companies around west haven. The pay range cant be compared to a city like New York, etc it is on the lower end
