- The ROI of the college is best if you compare with other colleges.
- The hostel Life is the best there are not so much restrictions in hostel
- You will get enough time to prepare for other examination and to explore
Dislikes
- Some seniors are arrogant and having bad relations with senior is not good
- The sports opportunity is not so good limited sports are there
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester we became eligible for placement .
Amazon Samsung and various big companies came too for it branches and for mining vedanta ,ABG , Adani, JSW offers s good package of 7 to 8 lakh nad vedanta offers 16.5 lakh per year
80 percentage in students get placed in mining engineering
Prepare for GATE examination

- Infrastructure of our college is very good it is equipped with so many modern technology's.
- Teachers of our college are very helpful and they provide assistance beside college work also
- All the teachers are highly qualified and the provide best quality teaching to us.
Dislikes
- Since our college is new there is no setup of laboratory in our college
- Some of the teachers are very bad they teaching is just like hell
- Our college is located in a very remote location so there is no parks malls etc
Course Curriculum Overview:
Government Engineering College palamu comes under Jharkhand University of technology so all the curriculum is based on or made by Jharkhand University of technology our curriculum is up- to date in the field as compared to other universities and the level of examination is also very high.

- I like the placement and ROI of the college as it hold 7LPA average package.
- It provides a good environment for the students who willing to go towards government sector.
- The mess and hostel staff and maintenance is quite good.
Dislikes
- 75% criteria for the attendance as it stops from following personal aim.
- Not good facilities are provided in the class.
- Unnecessary rules are there for the freshers.
Placement Experience:
Placement is good for core branches but the IT branches suffers a little bit problem for ion campus Placement but those wwho work hard does better in off campus and also many students gets good packages in on campus too.

- Exam dates are given before 15 days ie student get enough time to revise the syallabus
- Jut form fill service are very fine and good
- Also give time to recorrect the mistake.
Dislikes
- Website issues are very common for jharkhand University of technology
- Sometimes fee payment issue in website of jut
- Sometimes printing admit card and form fill up issue
Placement Experience:
As you talk about the placement of our college
Last year placement was very amazing 900 placement was offered in bit sindri campus in 2k23
Previous year mining branch placement was very amazing
And the main recruiter are vedanta which offers 16.5 lac per year
And other recruiter like tata steel , Aditya Birla group , jsw etc

- Campus here is very lush green ,, clg is situated 28km far from dhanbad city, so one can experience peace and can inhale fresh air. environment in campus is very pure
- Alumini Network of BIT sindri is very very strong. As BIT sindri was established in 1949,, with more than 75 years of college the students passed from here are present in each and every part of india and foreign as well
- Faculty here are really very helpful and cooperative .. They try to provide every possible sort of information they have with them.. All are very well enlighted and here teacher student relations are quite good
Dislikes
- Area out college is not very clean/sustainable ,, as college is near to mining sites
- Mess food : college authority should have the supervision on quality of food provided in hostels as one can only study properly if it has been feed properly
- as there is train facility in campus as fixed timings but travelling to dhanbad city from roadways is really very hectic
Placement Experience:
students in sixth semester onwards are offered to sit in placements ,the total job offfers made in 2022 was 860 offers made by variours companies .
total 51 reknowed company visted the campus, the average package is 6.50 lpa and highest package is 45lpa ans=d in 2023 120 plus recruiter participated in campus placements . some names of recruiter are amazon, paytm, cognizant, ACC , Vipro ,Vedanta, Adani ,Reliance, JSW.
about 80-90% of the student gets placed here every year. here student also opt for higher studies like college do provide masters degree in the campus

- college infrastructure is modern and newly made ,building are too good
- hostel rooms are good and spacious with all facilities
- mess food quality is really good and tasty
Dislikes
- some faculty members teaching is average
- college placement is still in doubt we don't have active placement cell
- student crowd is average they are the one who don't get any good government college
Course Curriculum Overview:
most of the students who get into thise college are the one who was not getting any seats in nits , iits and other good colleges.
all faculty have phd and teaching style is also good for some teachers. the course curriculum followed here prescribed by JUT.

- Sports Ground are small and difficult to play cricket.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is BTECH 4year degree course.First year provide us 2 semester.
I choose this course because I have idea of machine and design.
Some Faculty members are good but some Faculty members are average.
Qualification is Mtech and PhD.

- in this college everything is available according to the necessary of student
- In this college the discipline is the first priority and NO RAGGING
Dislikes
- this college is very far from tha city and nearby no market is present
- this college is very far from the bus stand and railway station
- the fee structure should be decreased so that poor people can afford
Course Curriculum Overview:
Our college had started almost two month after other colleges but due the efforts made by our professors and Hod's our syllabus were covered in limited time that's why our term exams were happened on time

- I like the vibrant college culture and good mess food.
Dislikes
- The college is situated in remote are where travelling is not so easy.
Placement Experience:
The college has impressive placement opportunities, with numerous companies coming for student evaluations. The average package is Rs.700,000, while the highest package last year reached Rs.500,000. The Mechanical branch boasts a 100% placement rate. Personally, I aim to pursue Government Jobs and attempt the Engineering Services exam conducted by UPSC.

- Classroom are need clean. Classroom has best for study.
- Hostel are good with facilities like almirah.

- College has no lab facilities like Computer science.etc
- Library are their but book are less numbers.

Faculty member are average in our college.
Faculty qualification is Mtech and PhD degree holder.
Exam are difficult.Every 6 month mid term exam held
