Student life in RGUKT

Likes

The food they provide is hygiene and healthy. The follow a healthy diet.
The theme of learning by doing is very nice idea by students get more benifited
Campus look very eco friendly, the environment and nature makes us more peaceful.

Dislikes

It is far away from the city difficult to travel.
It far to travel from hostel to classroom it takes 10to 15 minutes to travel
If I get internship opportunities from second year it would be better.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for the Internships from the third year second semester. Many companies like VLSI, TATA, WIPRO, INFOSYS, AMAZON, etc. have visited. They offered nearly 27 lakhs per annum. Nearly 70 to 75 percent of students get jobs in placements. I too want to get a good Package in campus placements.

The college nature is very good and greenery.
In our college we enjoy our classes along with my friends
Not only our friends and I like my faculty

Dislikes

We don't have our own campous and our hotels
Our campous is very far to city so it becomes hard to go for outing
Exams are very difficult to pass because papers are created by skilled faculty.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th and 8th semester students were eligible for campus placement. Infosys, bsnl, etc. are visited 12 to 6 lakh packages are offered. Above 75% of students are getting placed. I planned to try to attempt civils.

Likes

I like studies and opportunities in those college.
The campus life is good and friendly in nature.
Oue college provides 6 years integration btech.

Dislikes

Our campus is far from city i feel it is very difficult to me.
Care takers and wardens are very irresponsible.
Classrooms are far from our hostels it is difficult to me.

Placement Experience:

In the 7th and 8th semesters students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Infosys, bsnl, etc. Above 75% are getting placements.12 to 6 lakhs packages they are offered. I am planning to prepare GATE exam.

Quality education

Likes

College, library, sports, movies, annual fests.
Quality education, interaction with faculty.
Labs, friends, canteen, outings, nightouts.

Dislikes

Mess food, hostel rooms, accommodation of hostel rooms.
College timings, rules and regulations for girls.
Rules for girls are over, wardens are very strict.

Placement Experience:

On my campus students are eligible for campus placements in the 4th year 1st semester Wipro, BSNL, Texas. Highest 27lpa, Average 6lpa. It is above 70 percent in getting placements on our campus After getting a degree I want to get a job with a good package.

Life at RGUKT-Ongole

Likes

Free education which removes burden to the family.

Dislikes

Few placements are offered in the campus.
No permanent campus for the college yet.
Lack of faculty and facilities in the college and hostel.

Placement Experience:

From the 4th year first semester students are eligible for campus placements. Till now this year two companies visited viz.Belzbazar and vassar labs .They hired approximately 10 members. Belzabaar offered a 12 lakhs package which is the highest till now for this year. Nearly 30 percent of students will get placed every year in campus placements.

RGUKT students love

Likes

Provides education to poor background family. Which is very helpful to the students who wants to study higher education
Provides education in both theoretical and practical way. Which is further helpful to students
Conducts sports, cultural events etc which are too a part of students life. By which students can enhance their skills

Dislikes

Academic blocks are far away from the hostels so it is difficult to students to travel.
As college is located away from the city it is difficult to travel

Placement Experience:

From third year students are eligible to get jobs for the campus placements. TATA, WIPRO, INFOSYS, VLSI etc. are the companies visited recently they provide nearly 200. The highest package is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is 20 lakhs per annum 75 to 80 per cent of students get employed during their academics. Want to prepare for UPSC and crack upsc exams

Likes

I mostly like placement oppurtunities and studies
I mostly like sports and extra circular activities
I mostly like food and friendly hostel and hostel environment

Dislikes

Our campus is far from city this is somewhat difficult
I feel hostel is somewhat far from classrooms to walk
I didn't like caretaker irresponsible behavior somewhat it hurts me

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year 2nd sem students are eligible for placements. Many companies are visited like wipro and no. of offers are made. The highest package on our campus is 2700000. Nearly 75 percent of students are getting placements. I am planning to write the gate examination.

Learning new things

Likes

I like canteen food like noodles, egg Gobi etcc.
I also like dancing and singing in the fests.

Dislikes

I don't like neatness of the mess. Mess coordinators won't wear uniforms.
I dislike some friends behaviour like ignoring me.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies are offered to students like Wipro, TATA, BSNL, Intel, many software companies, etc. 35lakhs per annum for a software job is the highest job. Of students getting placements, they have maybe 85 percent.

College is the Second mother in my life

Likes

Fests libraries hostel rooms canteens sports.
Good interaction with students stress free education.
Free time to prepare for other activities and examinations labs .

Dislikes

Mess food like the taste of food is not that much good.
Some faculty members because of their arrogance.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year of engineering, sem2 students will be eligible for placements infosys, Wpro, texts Tata, Airtel companies will come per year they will select out of 100 15 students will be selected for placements the highest package is 27lakhs and the least package 10 lakhs per year out of 100 percentage 50 percentage is getting placements.

When fed up turns to internship

Likes

Campus fests and sports meets for mentala nd physical health.
Library for greater knowledge and real life applications, good level of communication with faculties.

Dislikes

Mess food is sometimes horrible too. But college had a mess committee to take care of it

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semester are eligible for campus placements. They can even try for internships offered by college or out of it. The average package offered is 27lpa. Infosys, wipro, Texas etc are visited mostly. Placement percentage is 15%. My plans are to get placed on the campus.
