Review of SJCC

Likes

Very good people and nice atmosphere all around
Short class duration which can help CA students
Very accessible to metro and other modes of transport

Dislikes

Lack of professional teachers, they focus on discipline too much
The studies are not at par with many other colleges
Don’t prepare us a lot on real life skills

Placement Experience:

College placements are very common as the college has very strong connections with EY and other accounting firms. There is a very strong alumni network leading to easy placement with decently high packages in college.

Badnaaam nahi MCC Carmel!

Likes

Environment and the very amazing faculty
Cool staffs! Watch'mens and women do thr work too good.
Canteen and food and the most fav is infrastructure

Dislikes

The rules! Which shouldnt be entertained
The crowded fests! And the price for it too high
For each n everything money matters! Just moneyyy

I didn't wanted to opt this course just got in due to fees issue, and it was a girls clg before, now it's not good! Ummm too many awareness They shd guides us in notes making... Totally depends how well we understand the subject it will be easy or might be difficult 2 n half hours end sem exams!

For hostel the food would be average it seems

From 2 nd year onwards they will be start providing opportunities for the students to find job and make them ready for there job and look into placement facilities.some good companies have visited this college

The College as I Know it

Likes

The college supports students who pursue professional courses
Timings of the college is ideal 9 am to 3 pm
The college is secluded from city so it's peaceful to study

Dislikes

The campus is too small which makes it less adventurous
The library collection is too small and needs alot of additions

I'm pursuing Bcom specifically in the college which has alot of opportunities which includes anything regarding commerce banking accounting etc Further apart from this I opted to pursue CA which has a ton of knowledge which can be used for efficient financial working

Likes

In our MS Ramaiah College there is a huge campus and we can enjoy
In our MS Ramaiah College they will do so many cultural programs
In our MS Ramaiah College they will encourage us for a sports

Dislikes

Regular leave for as there is no they won't give any holidays for festival
We need to walk 1 km to reach our college from the bus stand
There is no proper best facility to reach our college

I liked about its way off affordable compare to other colleges they provide some what affordable compare to other colleges
They understand students problems if anyone is going to job

Dislikes

They don't support much about the current generation students problems they just do it like a job not that I am complaining it's just they ain't doing it passionately

It's pretty decent compare to other colleges they have made up the course pretty good and the price is also affordable the faculty members are some what rude at times it's something I don't like about our college

Average student life in A typical Bommer college

Likes

The one thing I liked about my college is that it is kinda free you can skip classes it's really free if you are working bt still u need to ask permission but yeah that's it

Dislikes

It's the regular bullshit the entire college is runned by some 50+ year old boommers who doesn't understand the problem as a youngster which is a typical bommer activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt my course which is b.com BDA is a mixture of both computer and commerce fields so I thought it's a best chance to learn in both ways but the thing is it's the first batch in our college so it's not perfect they don't teach use the computer based subject practically so yeah I would like to change that.

YEARS AT MCC

Likes

The campus is very near and clean with good plants and is well maintained
We have councellors for students who need help and they are available till the college working hours
Libraries we find all types of book from subject related to novels which is very helpful

Dislikes

Sometimes the dress code is not followed by the students

Placement Experience:

Students can enroll to placement at their final year 5th semester the notice will be sent to the students in the starting of the final year. Ey,ICICI Bank, Zomato,Egrms etc have visited the college almost 40 offers have been made The highest package was 24 lpa and the average is 4.5 lpa the package depends on the role the company offers Almost all the students enrolled to the placement get placed about 80% of applied students get placed My future plans are on getting a masters degree in finance

Small graduation journey!

everyone is included and valued equally.
good facilties and resources for students to avail at all times
Qualified set of faculties, who are humble and down to earth.

Dislikes

very small campus and less space to roam around.
limited access to library due to the size of the room
tons and heaps of assignment to finish in short course of time

Placement Experience:

- from 5th semester - deloitte, Goldmansachs, EY, KPMG, Accenture, oracle - offers made 200 - highest was 12lpa and was offered in Hyderabad - 90% was the percentage of students getting placed - work in a start up

My review of the famous Mount Carmel college: pros and cons

Likes

The cultural fests and the overall atmosphere of comfort within friend groups
Availability of faculty and modern building structures
Campus amenities like library, computer labs, e-resource centres

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is now 4:1 compared to the all-girls policy followed till 2023.
Last minute information circulation (exams/events)
Change in the dress code and stricter regulations after the co-ed policy starting 2024

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester end 1-2 companies may come for certain select roles in fields of technology and business operations. However majority of the colleges begin with placements from 5th semester i.e 3rd year onwards. Few students have got the package of 20+LPA, this offer could be by DE Shaw, JPM or Deloitte 80% placement guarantee.
