SBU Ph.D Mathematics is offered as 3 Years Full Time program. The minimum eligibility criteria for Ph.D is Post Graduation with 55%. The total fees for SBU Ph.D Mathematics in 2025 is ₹ 3.12 Lakhs for the complete course duration, which includes total tuition fees of ₹ 2.31 Lakhs. Earlier, the fees in 2023 - 2024 for Ph.D Mathematics was ₹ 2.83 Lakhs.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with following qualification shall be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. Program of the University:
a) Candidates possessing M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc.(Engg.)/M.Sc /MCA / MBA / MA or equivalent Degree in relevant branch from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a ten point scale in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply for admission in the relevant departments.
b) Sponsored candidates must have minimum of two years of professional work experience, besides fulfilling the above criteria. In addition, such candidates should have valid sponsorship at least for three years.
RELAXATION FOR SC/ ST CANDIDATES
Eligibility criteria will be relaxed by 5% marks for SC / ST candidates.
