Fees first category is 2 lakhs opportunity of scholarship is maintained percentage or cgpa yes, job got on campus with stipend visiting mncs at vit bhopal university offer to dream companies like ibm , microsoft, amazon etc.
From the fun performance to interesting workshops, it's a big party with friends.
The faculty is good, they are friendly and professionals. they help with doubts and are very helpful and provide great guidance

Dislikes

Not good facilities provided in the room hostel facility is not good their food is not making good rent this room is very costly but mess facilities very poor hostel allotted rankwise this is my accommodation
Gym facility is very poor . it has a small gym which is in block 1 only.
The faculty student ratio is around 1:75 but as it is a newly opened college so sometimes due to a lack of faculties.

Teaching staff or faculty is supportive.

Dislikes

Distance between hostel and academic block is little far approx 2km.
After first year they have 3 semester per yaer which is hectic

Placement Experience:

In this college our placement cell start their internship opportunities from 6th semester and placement starts after 8th semester.In our campus various companies visits for placement drive like Microsoft, Visa, American Express, TCS, Infosys and many more.Till now highest package from our college is 59 lpa.According to placement cell 90% of student get placed in companies.

Overall it's good

Likes

I like my campus like it's green and it keeps growing(it's always under construction). Also the skies are really pretty here.
I like that some of the teachers are good and actually wants to support you in your path.
Curriculum is good but could be better than this.

Dislikes

Some teachers do partially and give marks to people who don't even deserve it and for the sake of average they cut marks for no reason because even they don't know what is even wrong with the answer.
There is a lot of social interactions here, i mean there will be no time when u don't see people on campus.
Teachers don't know the subjects so they sometimes just teach rubbish

Placement Experience:

The placements are good here. The placement cell is also very active. I personally plan to masters after this. But the placement cell starts in the early 2nd year so that students have a head start which is very good and beneficial. The placements are also good.

Academics of the college is top notch and they are very punctual with the academic calender they decide before the year.
Faculties are very professional and they are very supportive with the students.
FFCS is the cherry on the top you can choose your own time slot along with faculty.

Dislikes

Schedule is very hectic and acdemics is very tight.
Campus is good but infrastructure is still not full devoloped.
Exams are conducted very frequently and you will have to study all time.

Placement Experience:

From third year students are eligible for placement and varieties of company visit campus can't write name of them they are in many hundreds highest placement is 59Lakh and highest of 2025 is 55Lakh approx 86% to 90% percent studets who go for placement get placement. I want to get a job.

Likes

A quiet good campus with events going on every week
Good faculties , all are doctorate from reputed universities
The fully flexible credit system allows us to choose our classes and facilities

Dislikes

Things are over expensive in campus all the daily requirements
We don't get permission to go outside without proctor
It is in an isolated area so we are not accessible to outside eorld

The curriculum is relevant enough though some things are there which are general things , else everything is relevant in the booming world of AI , the AI subject is made compulsory for everyone so the curriculum is well designed

VIT Bhopal A place where a lion is born.

Likes

Lush green large Campus spread over 600 Acre.
Curriculam and examination rules and regulations.
100 percent doctorate faculty with a good amount teaching experience.

Dislikes

Not proper courses are offered which can helps us to gain industry level skills.
Management and Hostel facilities offered are too poor.
Internet and mobile connectivity is very poor in the college.

Placement Experience:

Every year almost 3000 student apply for on campus placement from Computer Science and Engineering branch. And our college strictly follows filtering out students based on CGPA. Like the students with higher CGPA are given more preference over a student with low CGPA. Therefore it is difficult for the students with less than 9CGPA to been shortisted by the placement cell. In 2025 highest placement is of a 56LPA on Zomato and the average placement is still 7.7LPA.

Whether you should join VIT bhopal or not

FFCS ie fully flexible credit system , I liked it because you can choose your own time table and faculty
Mess food is not too great but decent enough
placement is decent considering you are joining in category 1 fees

Dislikes

No facilty for sports nlike theres only one indoor sports hall which is not good and you shouldnt expect anything regarding sports facility if you are considering to join
some teachers are biased but not all teachers
college administration is very strict and attendance is considered strictly

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

I like the availability of many technical labs like AI in health informatics lab , gaming development lab , etc.
I also liked the food quality and taste of my mess.
The teachers and staff here are pretty much friendly and always ready to help.

Dislikes

Just because this college is established only 8 years , there is less of the well prepared grounds.

Placement Experience:

1) From around 3 year students become eligible for campus placement 2) There were many companies like Microsoft , Amazaon , Intel , Flipkart , TCS , Accenture , etc , offering 400+ dream offer and 100+ super dream jobs. 3) The highest package was 56 LPA this year offered by MotorQ and average of package of 10-12 LPA. 4) About 88% students were placed this year.

Vibe of the college is good and environment is also nice
Mess food quality is better compared many other colleges.Menu also provides variety
Labs are well equipped and are upto the mark and makes you ready for the job market

Dislikes

Hostel staff is very strict and curfew timings are not good
Sports complex is too small and grounds are also maintained
The college is situated around 70kms far from bhopal

Placement Experience:

From sixth semester you are eligible for campus placements.The total number of companies visited this year was 820 and 6000 offers were made by the companies. The highest package offered this year was 56 lpa and the average is 8 lpa . The placement percentage of this year is around 92%.

An honest review on the life of a hosteler in VIT Bhopal

The infrastructure is quite large and spacious. You will all the types of labs and faciythat are required for engineering.
The social life is also great. We have good and supportive seniors who guide you in all that you undertake to do.
We get a huge range of faculty to choose from so you can select according to your time slots and your learning capacity

Dislikes

Very strict curriculum and the 75 percent attendance is a bit nerve wracking
The campus is very huge and there is no transport facilities so you have to walk a long distance every day if you are a hosteler
You also may feel overwhelmed by the crowd that you will witness here due to multiple fees category which has led to a huge number of admissions

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is almost similar to other colleges but the re are certain courses like Vitdhya which is provided by VIT bhopal exclusively which also covers learning GitHub and uploading projects on it which really comes in handy when we look into the real world criteria for good jobs and placements. So overall it is good. It could have been better if the attendance was a bit linient so students could get more time to work upon themselves.
