VIT BHOPAL college reveiw

The curriculum of my branch covers all the essential courses that I would need, and if I feel so to add some extra courses so I can do that in FFCS For eg, I wanted to do the course "FOUNDATIONS IN DS", so I just have to select that in FFCS, and I can take that course

I cannot list the companies that come to Vit Bhopal because that will be too much, and I don't remember, but I can name many - Microsoft SDE intern Amazon JP morgan DE SHAW PAYPAL INTEL CISCO INTEL VISA MOTORQ All for SDE intern, Data scientist, and Cyber Security professional all of the stipend ranging from 40k to 1lakh per month

After the 7th sem, internship opportunities arrive in Vit Bhopal, and there are many of them, almost 1 or 2 a week, if not greater than that And in the 4th year, the students are eligible for placements The highest package was RS 58 LPA The average is 8 to 9 LPA and the lowest is 3 to 4.5 LPA

I'm in the fees category 1, so my yearly fees are Rs 198000 for 1 academic year, which comes to just under 8 lakhs for 4 years, and hostel, I'm in a 3-sharing flat bed, which is around Rs 167000 per year CATEGORY 2 costs 3 lakhs per annum CATEGORY 3 costs 4 lakhs CATEGORY 4 cost 4.48 lakhs

There are many festivals celebrated here for many different cultures and regions, for example, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Marathi, North, South, etc The main annual festival is ADVITYA, held in February The college has 2 libraries, both filled with books, novels, and storybooks. A student can issue books from the library for 15 days, and there are no limits on book issues There are many students running clubs, with activities and events also run by them

The hostel provides all the necessities: table, chair, bed, cupboard, and we have a lot of room in our rooms for our luggage The mess is also nice, they listen to our complaints and wishes, and the menu is changed in 30 to 40 days There are many PGs around our college with full facilities that are made for college students only

I got accepted to Manipal Jaipur, but I rejected it because of high fees, which were around 2lakhs for tuition, but 2.5 lakhs for hostel Applied to Thapar as well, but didn't like it much Vit Bhopal was fairly near to my hometown as well (600 km) The admission process of this college is fairly normal. u have to give the VITEEE exam, and based on ur rank, u get phases of counseling and based on that, u get to choose ur campus and course in any 4of the four campuses of VIT

The ratio of faculty to students is good, most of the faculty are approachable and listen to our problems and solve them, and all of them have a doctorate, so they are very knowledgeable. Exams are of 2 types mid midterms and endterms mid terms are for half syllabus and end terms for full syllabus

There are 2 gyms free for boys and 1 free for girls, all in hostels respectively There is also a commercial gym for both girls and boys The timings for the library are from 8 am to 7:30 pm The cafeteria is open from 8:30 am to 6 pm The hostel timing for boys is 9 pm, so till then we can roam on campus and play sports on the ground
