IIIT Trichy Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 6th sem end, we will be eligible for placement and we also have a summer internship program. The placement quite varies from year to year. Companies visited are Amazon, Paytm, Capgemini, Infosys, Goldman Sachs, etc. Highest package 2021:-20lakh Average package:-10 lakh.

The college is mentored by NIT Trichy, the number one NIT in India. We shared the same campus and facilities and even faculties. It was easy to get CSE for my branch which isn't the case with NITs and other well established IIITs. I got the college in my second round but I got ECE. This went on till the seventh round. Finally, in the special round, I got CSE. The admission takes place via Josaa and we are required to get our documents checked after the first round at the nearest NIT and again at the 7th round to book the college before moving onto the special round. Please read the requirements carefully (I forgot to get the stamp paper signed by a lawyer as mentioned in the rules for entering special round). The main reason was it was under mentorship of NIT-T. Good-Good for CSE Students as there is good atmosphere and great for coding and stuff. Even the help from faculty is very good. Some clubs are running fine with competitions and seminars. Bad-No own campus. Website-Official IIIT Trichy website.

My college life was quite peaceful and happy. I had spent the best days of my life in my college. The annual program of our college was my favorite program. I had made some amazing friends in my college, who are still in touch with me.

Admission to computer science engineering is based on the ranks in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main), we need to appear for this exam and get good rank so that we get good college from our rank. Admission for qualified students is done by a single platform through online by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). IIIT Tiruchirapalli is good college and has good education and academic records.

IIT Trichy is an institute that dedicates its attention to each and every student to build their career for a successful life. They create complicated case studies and exams for students to use their minds at maximum capacity.

It took me four years to be thorough with the topics and be ready for the JEE MAINS exam which got me into the IIIT Trichy. Also, there is additional pressure to secure more than 75% in boards as the rules have changed!

Admission process in this college is like the other IIT and the government colleges you have to attain good rank above than the cut off that they have decided for the admission process and if you have the above rank from the cutoff then you can easily give interview and take admission in college

All the 19 Institutes of IIT follows a same pattern of selection procedure that it based on the marks of JEE Mains. Initially I was preparing for IIT and I qualified Jee Mains with good marks but due to some problems I didn't go for JEE advance paper and I came across this esteemed institution

The admission procedure was not so easy. Only those candidates got admission who had qualified the JEE Mains Exam. The Eligibility Criteria for General/OBC was 75% in 12th board and for SC/ST was 65% in the 12 board. I got admission after qualifying Jee Mains.
