Likes

I hope there was a chance to avail scholarship and also provide easy internships
Faculty who had a lot of knowledge and expertise regarding the field and they gave their best in classes and taught very well
The campus was very spacious and clean and the rooms were spacious and clean as well

Dislikes

Some of the staff members in offices or counters were very rude . If asked about any information they would ignore or reply in a very rude manner . That was the worst part.
The paper or tamplet glued on the wall during election times is bad
The process for registration and office purpose for this college is bit poor

At all the gurucharan college is a good college .A college which the faculty members are also good and the environment.

Likes

All the teachers are very good and co-operate with the student .
College campus are eco friendly and college is very neat and clean.
All the staff of our college are friendly with everyone.

Dislikes

One the most is the college parking area not at all good
Another is that there washroom are not at all clean
The other is not at all good the boy common room

The course of our college is good and from myself I give 95 % I decided because the college faculty are good and the environment are also good .And the faculty members are also goods I selected the course for bcom .and the college is good for bcom and have good name in our locality all people have suggest me to join the college . Timing of examination 3 hr and the paper is moderate.

Review according to a student's perspective

Likes

Bcom department teachers are very cooperative, understanding, and very skillful while teaching
College campus is usually clean and well maintained
Certain programs and festivals are organised by the college every year

Dislikes

There is a crowd while submission of collection of fees or any documents in the counters.
Like in any other colleges in silchar, practical classes and submission of practical copies of HS students are done just 1-2 weeks before their exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of it's importance in my upcoming entrances and job requirements. Although everything is taught well by the teachers but it need experience in this field for facing the real challenges. Studying is not only the main thing. Exams are taken periodically and the questions are mediocre to hard depending upon the syllabus.

Likes

I liked that there they take regular classes
The teachers are good and understanding towards students
The teachers consider the problem of a student

Dislikes

The classes and bencher are not comfortable
Female bathrooms are not always clean and they smell so bad
Canteen doesn't have enough food options for students but they have for teachers

Course Curriculum Overview:

I studied commerce in 12th and had no better option other than doing graduation from the same They prepare nothing for us to face the real world Classes timings can be better so that students doesn't have to wait a lot for the next class Exams are conducted in a good manner and doesn't have much gap in between

Brief information about G.C College

Likes

All the facilities are too helpful but the gaping between the classes is too much.
They provide dustbin and water supply at the campus
In the campus there are aroud trees which give a positive vibe

Dislikes

The girls washroom is not that clean , smells too bad

The facilities are too good in that area , this college is reputed since my parents young age . All the teachers are well educated in those subjects, they even wrote books we can get from Amazon, they are experienced teachers.

The truth of college

Likes

I like the way teachers interact with the students
Non teaching staffs are also very generous
Overall sports facilities are really good

Dislikes

Don't like the infrastructure of the college
Information related to exams are not easily available
Some teachers are biased which is not good

The curriculum is not up to the expectation I had before choosing this college and this course. It's not like I thought before getting into it. Exams are also very irregular. There is no specific routine

Friendly environment of the college administration and students,staff and teacher
Greenary and silence that ensures a calm and productive environment

From the final semester the students become elegible for campus placement, till now as per my knowledge the average package offered to students is 2.5-3lpa. almost more than 70% of the students get placement

my personal experience

Likes

the girl to boy ratio was like 6:4 as girl students were more in our batch
the college campus was nice and the faculty were also very supportive
i appreciate the overall experience i got from the college was nice decent education sports college fests and all were a + point

Dislikes

the infrastructure is now outdated the must renovate the college campus asap
toilet were not so clean and i found it very casual to others but for me uts a basic thing should be improved
the drinking water solution was very poor

my elder sister was into the field of commerce which i eventually opt for she was the one who encouraged me and boosted my interests in that very field as i said earlier exams used to be very frequent we have to deal with internals which were of 20 marks and mains of 70 marks paper which was not very hard to pass if one goes to the proper syllabus for there prep

basically i liked the campus and the freedom which i used to get in a govt institute rather than a private where rules are very strict regarding everything and there high fee structure was also a majior concern for me that is why i opt for gc colleg
i liked the faculty which was very calm and supporting like we had few professors in our college who were very much helpful
i also liked the campus life which offered me a lot of quality interactions with a lot of helpful and kind people

Dislikes

i didnt liked the sanitary solutions offered by the college they were of no use
the washrooms were not clean, there was a lot of politics among the students
the infrastructure of the college need to be updated

the course which i did was nothing but a complete basic package where i came to know about many concepts about the world of commerce in whic we used to study about accounting ,business , ecommerce, economy , business maths and business statistics.
