At all the gurucharan college is a good college .A college which the faculty members are also good and the environment.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I paid yearly 350 the tution fees I paid quarterly 5000 all the fees are included in registration time while selecting college no extra payment we have to pay for the college all of these are included in 350 and I belong to obc category and I submit income certificate yearly because my father earned below 300000 for that I submit income certificate which reduce my fee and few of my friend pay 350 whose financial condition are like me and some of them 7200 who have the availability to pay that few of them are benefited from it

My Personal College Experience

During the admission the students having family income less than 500000 are provided free admission other than that every department have different fee structure.... I was from arts so i needed to pay 8750 ... Also as we r under Assam University a fees of 450 is needed to pay..after that when we have separate sem exms a separate amount of 250 is to be paid for college center nd again 450 to Assam University... That it I had no scolarship so have no idea on that :))

The yearly fees is 7500, excluding exam fee or others. Tution fee is 7500, registration fee is 250. Scholarships are available for SC/ST/OBC quota. And an aid of rs 5000 is availabile for 1st and 2nd position holder of TDC result

For bachelor of arts in general 7,000 something like that and I think it is not very much so many people can afford but so many people also can't afford because of financial issues for that college also provide free admission for the students and now also CM provide every girl should 1200 per month for scholarship

A brief insight into the college & hostel life of Gurucharan college

The fees is 27000 rupees per year, for the completion of the whole course of biotechnology, it reaches to about 2.16 lakhs. Mine is quite higher i.e 34000 as i had taken zoology and botany as my DSM Subjects. An examination fee is also taken per semester which is usually of about a total of 685 rupees.

A critical analysis of Gurcharan college silchar

1st year approx. Rs8000 From the 2nd year it will be around 6000; you will get a fee waiver if your monthly income is less than 3 lakhs; just provide a ration card or income certificate while admitting. There are also self-financed departments in college; their fees are high. For example, in computer science, the yearly fees go up to 20k-30k.

Review according to a student's perspective

Year wise fees for Bcom is usually around rs.5400 or something but last year they reduced it to rs.4090. No other fees is required atleast for Bcom students, for registeration it is rs.300 and centre fee is rs.250. Other departments like science normally pay around 10000 per yr and arts students pay somewhat less than that but if they have ration card registered than they have the facility of paying less than 1000rs. Mainly three scholarships are provided by the college which includes fees for books, mess for hostel students and for students who have no back subjects and all. For hostel it wasabout rs.8600 last year .

All about Gurucharan college

So basically I m studying cbcs(bba) degree which is 3 year course and my fees is 26000 per year , and thus it is a private course it doesn't have any category based fees, all the students have to pay the same fees
