JIS University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In the prefinals of the course, student become eligible for placements. After the finals there are many students who choose to study further instead of job hunting. Companies like cipla, Wipro visits the university during placement calls.

i have a great passion for engineering and that's why i chose this college and btech . our ubiversity provides us good faculty and they are so friendly. our teaching method are so good and so greatful for us as they are so good if we have any dought they solve us in any time and the also help us in many project and hackathon.

the placement held in the college after the 3rd year, eligible who have 60 percent in the per semester. there are several company visits on the campus Wipro, TCS, Flipkart, Paytm, Accenture, and angel booking etc.AVG package taken in the compnay is 4-4.5 LPA. The placement rate is 70 to 80 percent. My plan is will take the GATE exam after the BTECH for my master's.

After 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements Many good companies are there which come in our college like Wipro, CONGNIZANT, Infosys, Cipla, TCS etc. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

1. beginning of the 7th sem We are eligible for campus placement 2. cognizant, TCS etc 3. Highest package of the college is 10-12lskhs and average package of the college is 3-4lakhs 4. Which students don't have a backlog and got a good CGPA like 8-9.5 Cgpa gets placed after the completion of Graduation 5. First I will join a job, then try to improve my skills and aim to job product base company

From 7th semester we become eligible to sit for on-campus job interviews. Companies like TCS, WIPRO, CAPPGEMINI, ACCENTURE and many others companies which are not as famous as these also visit for recriutment. Since I am not eligible yet I can't tell my personal experience about the number of offers made. Most of the students get on-campus placements if they don't have any backolgs, and if they meet the basic eligibility criteria of having CGPA of 8.0 to 9.9 . Students can also opt for off-campus jobs for better salary, and some students even don't sit for placement rounds to prepare for higher studies such as GATE, CAT. As I heard from seniors average salary package is 3.5L on-campus jobs. I want to get a job after completion of the degree and then maybe go for higer studies.

Most of the seniors i have heard have got placemnets either of campur or on campus . Students become eligible for campus placements from fourth year and from 3rd year you can sit for internships. Companies like TCS , Wipro, Accenture, Cappegemini, as you all know these companies visit in most colleges , so they visit , there are many unknown companies o which i don't know the names , they also visit but most of the students prefer off campus placements rather than on campus. Highest package is modt probably 18lpa as of heard by me, it is an off campus placemnt , someone bagged it in Amazon. If You want to sit in on campus placements be sure to have a cgpa between 8-9.9 because companies visiting drw a limit there and filter out students from there and with no backlogs in your result. Many don't even sit for pacemnts for gate preparation but the competetion is going to be tough because the no. of students per batch is increasing following every year.

In this course your job carrier is secure so i have selected this course. Faculties are very good and very helpful. All faculties are doctored and many are master from famous college. Teaching method are very impressive.

I Choose B.Tech from here cuz, The fees is very low rather then other colleges in west bengal. Faculties are good, Teaching Skills are great. All faculties have their P.HD (Dr) degrees. There are 2 exams in a semister, mid sem and end sem, you have to qualify both. Exams are easy for you if you are regular in class and read all notes of your class teacher.

I choose this course because this is a versatile course and i also love coding so i opted this course in this college . the faculty student ratio is quite good as compared to another colleges in kolkata .
