The college offers scholarships as performance-based rewards to the top 60 students each semester, based on their academic performance across all Indian Maritime University (IMU) campuses. The batch topper receives INR 100,000, the next 30 students are awarded INR 75,000 each, and the subsequent 30 students receive INR 50,000 each.
Additionally, the Shipping Corporation of India provides an INR 1 lakh scholarship per annum to economically weaker students, including those in SC/ST and OBC categories. Various other scholarships are available, such as the Government of India merit scholarship, state government scholarships, and shipping company-sponsored scholarships like the DMET Alumni scholarship.
Furthermore, education loans are readily available through the State Bank of India (SBI) and other banks, with an SBI branch located on campus for added convenience.
