Hostel Facilities:
For first year to third year you have to share room with cadets. In final year you will get your own room. Hostels have newsrooms with 150 plus seating arrangements for each hostel. There are 7 hostel blocks , new junior hostel, junior hostel, east wing, west wing, OBC , L wing and senior hostel.
Likes
- The Greenry of the college area and the college infrastructure.
- The Gym and sports facilities is the place where we spend our most of the college life. The college has Gym and sports for each batch.
Dislikes
- The hostel mess food okay but sometimes its so bad !!
Hostel Facilities:
There is a separate hostel for all the years. For the 1st years in the hostel there is 1 room for 5 5 students and for 2nd&3rd year there is 1 room for 2 students and for 4th year there is a separate room for everyone. The hostel mess food is almost good with number of varieties. The hostel is compulsory for the student and the hostel fees is included in the course fees.

- placement scenario here is good one can easily secure a seat in good company

- the schedule of the cadets at imu kolkata is very hectic
- water clogging problem during rainy season is a huge problem here
Hostel Facilities:
There will be maximum 3 cadets in one big room every one get their seperate beds study table and almirah the mess is inside the hostel building only .the overall course fee includes mess and hostel fee as well .
Likes
- Best was the it has different vibes than other colleges here is very good senior interaction. Senior helps in every work
- We can take participate and many events are done frequently from esports to litosphere
Dislikes
- Main problem is that the college is not very big but they are increasing batch strength every year than capacity
- The number of holidays are very low that is around 85 percentage every semester
Hostel Facilities:
There four different hostel for every year cadetsthat live in. In the 1st yers hostle there is 6 people living in a room with facilites of personal table cupboard shelf and bed provided . In 2nd year there is 2 people living in room with a personal cupboard table and chair with an additional balcony , In 3rds also two peoplein room .In 4th years there is room for single people . The mess is also available for different years they serve quite well with both foods for vegeterian and non vegeterian .You have to live in the hostel while doing courses

- The discipline for the cadets at IMU Kolkata is very nice the cadets are well train for there on board ship challenges
- The workshop at IMU Kolkata is the Asia's largest workshop the workshop is well acute with the bowler the turbo machineries etc the cadets are well traine in the workshop
Dislikes
- The schedule of the cadets at time in Kolkata is very hectic. The cadets didn't even have a time for the free time.
- The clogging of water during the rainy season at IMU you Kolkata is very bad you have to do go to the classes without your shoes
Hostel Facilities:
The hostel facility at IMU Kolkata is very good as compared to other hostels the hostel comprises of a five story building which has a lift and well furnished bedrooms for the carrots with cupboards table and bookshelf. The hostel provides a mis area for the cadets. The hostels are divided into the 4 years like the first year second year third year and 4 year. There is also a separate hostel for the lady cadets which is provided with security. All the hostels are well equipped with the security. The meal quality of IMU Kolkata is very good. The cadets are provided with sufficient food to empower the daily healthy diet.

- Our workshop is oldest workshop and it includes various machineries like boiler, main engine, auxiliary engine, steam turbine, turbo charger .
- All the tools are present in workshop, you will get all tools in worko.
Hostel Facilities:
Hostel facility is very good. As here I will get room on fourth floor. There will be 2 person in a single room. Room is fully furnished and clean. The quality of meal is good you will get non veg 5 day in a week and veg 2 days. Registration process for room is included during admission When you will get admission they will allott you a room

- Placement is the best here. You will get the best out of yourself here and will get good companies.
- Sports is one of the main part of our curriculum which helps us to maintain fitness.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not upto the mark. It can be improved a lot.
- New machines can be installed. Maximum workshop machines are very old.
Hostel Facilities:
The hostel facility is average for the first years. You will get accommodation with 5 persons in your room. But, in second year you will get 2 in a room , 3rd year 3 in a room and single in 4th year. Meal is not excellent but still of good quality. Hostel is compulsory here you can't leave outside the campus due to its schedule.

- Architecture is good and appreciable and it's upto the mark
Hostel Facilities:
Hostel is good specious for two people but first year is having a accomodation of 6 people which is ok and good and the meal is ok quality not speciall and it's fine to have such meal and you need to be fine for such digestion.
