The campus life is good as you get to live around various types of people with different culture, religion and region all around the india. There are many groups like placemnt group, dance and cultural group, bands and parade group, sports and many things which you are interested in.

My overall experience has been amazing in IMU kolkata campus. Campus oraganise tempest every year as a annual fest We also celebrate all the festivals with lot of devotion and excitement. As student we have different clubs for example nature's club, enigma etc.

The campus life is very amazing with a total military like discipline and all the cadet in well groomed manner There are many events organised every year in the college in which the cadets can participate freely and showcase their talents

About the infrastructure, there are AC classrooms, WIFI available in the academic block, Big library, Swimming pool, every hostel has its gym, playground and courts. There are a wide range of books available in the library. Two major fests are held every year TEMPEST(Asia's largest marine fest) and Lit-o-sphere. However, there are regular workshops and weekend meets there for the cadets to know the field better and have as much as exposure. The campus has India's largest marine workshop. There are a wide range of sports available for the cadets such as Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Hockey, etc.

My overall experience was amazing there were several clubs like singing, band , poetry, drama , dance and sports where we performed and show case our internal skills in front of others. The infrastructure is really nice we had auditorium, workshop, swimming pool, gymnasium, badminton court, volleyball court, basketball court and big football ground. In library we got full accessibility through our college library card.

There are so many festivals celebrated in the campus with all the year cadets . Apart from festivals the Indian maritime University conducts Asia's largest marine fest which is known to be as tempest . It is very well known to be the largest Marine fest because of the vast and spreaded organisation all over the world. The tempest is sponsored by the very well known demica global society. So much of participants are getting involved in the first as the opportunity to show their talent to the world.

Many festivals takes place in the camnpus like: Asia's largest marine fest Tempest which continues for 4 days and consists of events like propulsion, cacophony, alumni night, Chakravyuh Freshers party Open mic event Litosphere Foundation day Sapath Grahan for Rashtriya Ekta Divas Passing out parade

The annual fest conducted in our college is Tempest which is Asia's biggest marine fest which is conducted in the month of February every year. The availability of books are good and almost every book is available in the college library. The sports facilities is really good in this college. There are groups named Enigma, in this college.

You can indulge in various sports activities after returning from classes in the evening. There's a huge ground where you can play Football, Cricket, Kabaddi, hockey. There's a badminton court basketball court. Separate hostels for all year students.

The Asia largest marine fest (TEMPEST) is happening here as well as lithosphere and etc. All types of books available in college library for students. The facilities available in classroom are air condining, projector, and every facility which defines a classroom as a decent classroom. In Indian maritime University Kolkata campus, hockey, badminton, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, cricket, kabbadi, and etc are the extracurricular activities provided by the campus. Our passout runs a DMET club as well as DMET Samvad to help or improving knowledge to the cadets.
