- Some very good industrial relations were established this year, which could mean significant growth in the mean and median numbers as well as better and larger organizations coming for the campus placements.
- The scholarship is available for all the students and every year average placement package gets increased by good value.
- Everything related to admissions are awesome, now we have dedicated team to help the shortlisted students to appear for interview o jn cap process.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not that good and the boy's hostel is outside campus and is around 6 kms from the campus which causes a huge inconvenience.
- The taste of mess food provided here in our institute is not so good over here in the mess of our institute.
- Most baby iims don't have a strong industrial relationship and counselling board and an experienced placement council, thereby it's the same problem for each of them.

- The institute is really focusing on placements and is doing well in it, considering the market situation and the new generational IIM.
- Faculties are really supportive here and go at lengths to support students, be it in case competitions or academics.
- People are from very diverse culture and states so this way you get to meet people from all walks of like, making it a more holistic learning experience for the one who has joined.
Dislikes
- The permanent campus is really taking time to get built and sometimes it becomes difficult to travel between the hostel and the academic buildings, kills a lot of time.
- Since the institute in a small town called Paonta Sahib, it becomes difficult to avail advanced medical facilities. Also the city has very less to offer in terms of good experience.
- Institute is far away from the airport or railway station so it takes a lot of money to commute to the institute from the major hubs.
Course Curriculum Overview:
We have a specialized course in tourism that no other institute provides in India. Also, the institute follows the latest curriculum course in order to provide the latest trendy industry insights, and knowledge.

- Campus life is the one thing I like the most because it's different what it experienced in our undergraduate it's engaging and serious and more practical we have lots of assignments with deadline on the same day EOD when we all do our best
- Clubs and committee as IIM sirmaur is student driven compus. So the culture here is very good and supportive.
- Group projects are also something which I liked in IIM sirmaur because it everyone has its own role defined.
Dislikes
- IIM has temporary campus so it's small in comparison to other IIMs and it's original permanent campus which they are about to shift
- Library facilities is the another thing that I disliked because it doesn't have enough space and resources which we need for MBA course.
- Mess food is the another thing that I personally disliked.
Placement Experience:
Our placement committee is very good and supportive and placement process starts soon as you join the college in 1st year it is summer internship placement and 2nd year it's for final Placement. The placement drive in floated in respective students institute mail ID and they respond to the mail based on the eligibility criteria and the campus has proper infrastructure for conducting offline interview and they are strict norms when comes to placement guidelines like grooming standard and formal business dress code.

- Campus location is so good, all hill stations are easily accessible.
- Faculty here is very proficient and all of them have domain expertise
Dislikes
- The current location is situated in a small town names paonta sahib so there are not much places to visit.
Placement Experience:
Placements are improving with more and more companies coming on campus. Students get to choose their preferred roles and companies they dream to achieve. The institute was successful to achieve 100% placements year on year.

- The location is amazing. In the lap of hills.
- Places like Mussurie, Shimla, Dehradun, Kedarnath Badrinath are super close
- The city is good as well, gives you a good break from the urban life
Dislikes
- The admin is very lethargic and uninterested, often causing issues
- Infrastructure is one thing that is lacking as of now
- The fees is a little too high and seems unjustifiable
Placement Experience:
Placements are the best amongst all 3rd gen IIMs, be it SIPs or Final Placements. Likes of Paytm and Amazon are on campus and the numbers are also very promising. The placecom here does not gets involved in any unfair and dirty games and i can vouch for that. Theyll never ask you to opt out forcefully just to make their numbers good

- Weather at Himachal is very uncertain, it also affects your health
Placement Experience:
Both Summer Placements and Final Placements are provided by the Institute. Being a third-generation IIM, Jobs offered at IIM Sr are as lucrative as other IIMs, but the Institute is progressing fairly well in this area. Prominent recruiters are coming to campus for recruitment. Majority of Batch got placed in BFSI sector.
the last year average placement is 15 Lakh and the highest international package is 60 lakh

- Peer to peer learning environment, beautiful place, are things I like the most here.
- Industrial exposure and nice placement opportunities also makes it a better place to boost your career.
- It is also a real fun place and the food provided in the mess is also good.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not alsways great we are still in the temporary campus.
- The weather is not always too good. Sometimes it's too hot and sometimes too cold.
- Certain faculty members are not that great either
Placement Experience:
The placement committee works really hard to provide good opportunities for each student. There are many good companies that come for campus placements. The average CTC is also improving and great roles are offered.

- The values and culture we have here, the bond is very strong.
- Campus is quite vibrant and weather adds to it.

- Infra can be improved there is scope that i can say
- Rest everything is awesome here nothing bad
- The temporary campus is small and you can interact a lot.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The first remains the same for everyone curriculam that influenced me was the electives they offer and the renowned professors. The curriculum prepares us well as its case based and a lot of simulations are offered in each subject. More simulation and modern case can be included. The exams are coducted twice in a term and we have 6 terms in total. Difficulty level is on little higher side of the exams.

- Quality curriculum and good guest lectures
- Enough opportunities go learn and grow .

- Infrastructure is still in the development stage
- Faculty to student ratio is poor compare to its peer IIMS
Placement Experience:
Placement is given to 100% of the students although some students do look for lateral placemnet and some opting out for opening thier own venture.
Internship opportunities are also given to everyone in 1st year

- I liked the diverse students and the interactions I have with them. Also the faculty provides a good holistic development opportunity.
Dislikes
- I don't really like the mess food. The quality of food provided is not up to the standards of an IIM.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course because it aligns with my short term and long term goals. The course covers the basics needed to run a business or to be a business manager. The curriculum is designed by some of the brightest minds in the country and focuses on what are the demands in today's rapidly changing scenario. The case based pedagogy tries to bring out the best in ourselves and stimulate peer to peer learning.
When it comes to evaluation, there is a mid-term exam and an end-term exam in each of the three terms in a year. Apart from these, there are multiple quizzes which are conducted from time to time. Also, the class participation of the students and evaluated along with other projects and presentations for each course and subject.
