How good is Royal Global University Guwahati?

Students and alumni report that RGU Guwahati is below average. Royal global university is the worst university one could ever imagine, as per alumni. Students are mesmerised by its infrastructure. It is actually beautiful and well maintained. However, they will give you a 3 day orientation in which whatever they will tell you is all a bluff. Classes are conducted from 9 to 5 but after the lunch break, there will be no proper class and still you have to sit all day. This university will torture you mentally and will certainly make you depressed. They dont care about your problems at all. Not all the teachers or administration are bad but some of them are very mean. Even if you tell them your problems, they dont care about the students. During Covid-19, this university wanted to conduct an exam. Students were not against online examinations but absurd instructions like keeping their camera on and each question will be uploaded after 15 mins, during a one hour exam. Students were given plentiful assignments and were asked to appear for exams, for which they had no time to appear. Students and alumni advise against joining the university because they only want your money, with no quality education in return.

How is Royal Global University (RGU), Assam for doing an MBA and how are the placements?

Alumni say it is absolutely worthless! Youll waste your 2 years of life here. If you still want to try for an MBA, give CAT or XAT for better colleges. It will be tough but at the end of 34 years youll have a good career. Doing MBA from these tier 45 colleges doesnt make sense. Youll get a package of INR 2 INR 3 lakhs, working as sales reps in below-average companies.

Which one is better for a B.Tech, Kaziranga University or Royal Global University?

Alumni report that Kaziranga University is a better University for doing BTech, compared to Royal Global University. At Kaziranga University, the students are shaped in such a way that they become leaders in their field. If they compete with the other students of other universities, it shall always be a healthy competition. The students are allowed to participate in the various clubs of the university where they can pursue their hobbies. Taking part in the extracurricular activities makes the students active and makes them stress-free in pursuing challenging careers such as BTech. I think these facilities are hardly seen in universities such as RGU. The BTech course of Kaziranga University is one of a kind because it is aimed at changing the demographics of the Northeastern region through applied technical education and research, creating bright engineers and entrepreneurs, and developing world-class professionals and citizens of the world.

The campus. The campus of this cllg is really amazing and it will give you the felling that you are studying outside the country.
Fest, convocation are really amazing , I can say if you want to enjoy the college lifestyle and wants to make lots of memories then this college is best for you.
The teacher are really approachable and will listen to you.

Dislikes

Study - Departmental study of this college is really bad .
This college is all about money there was no high level education , but they charge huge amount money to take Admit.
The HOD of most department, doesn’t care about our request or study that much.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like anime and it is the only reason in choosing this course. The faculty was a bunch of liars, they told me that they has all the teachers about this course but actually, they doesn't have any and me and my fellow mates did spend the entire 1st semester without teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BSc(H) in Biotechnology because I have intersected in the Research field. The Faculty members are very supportive and are always there if we need any help. After every 3 months, there is a Midterm exam conducted by the respective faculty. And after every 6 months, there is the Final End sem examination. Difficult levels are moderate.

Teachers are helpful in RGu they act as a major pillar for your overall growth throughout the degree
Infrastructure. RGU is having on the best infrastructure in comparison with other NE university
Fest being held in RGU are also best they keep organizing various competition in the university.

Dislikes

Attendance is one of the maor reason one dislikes RGU .
Strict policies of tge university even the teachers complain about the university rules and regulations
Classes are arranged in the worst possible way and leads to inefficiency.

Placement Experience:

students in the 6th sem are eligible for campus placement. Around 70-80 companies visit the university such as tata, nestle, cognizant, wipro, etc The highest package is around 12 lakhs per annum and the average is 4 lakhs per annum 20-25% of students do get placement Pursue my Master's Degree

I liked the teching methods. The students are made industry ready which help them in facing the real issues dring their employment period.
Next all the faculties, the infrastructure and the campus life
I am also very impressed by the placement process and the opportunities

Placement Experience:

RGU has a very good and active placement cell. The placement starts coming from the last second semester onwards. Many big companies such maruti suzuki arena, the airport authority of India, unschool, duraroof, etc come for placement. The average package ranges from 7 to 8 lakhs. Approx 70% of students get placed during the placement process. After getting the degree I also hope of working in one of the reputed companies of India.

RGU is one of the best Universities of North East.

Likes

campus, hostel, canteen, concerts, classrooms and laboratories are hitech and equipped.
hostels are very neat and clean. There are 2, 3, 4 seaters and dormitory is also available.
There is domino's in campus. All the canteens maintain hygiene and food is so homely and delicious.

Dislikes

I have no complain. Everything is quite great at Royal Gloabl University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very interested in Biotechnology from HS days. I made up my mind that if I don't clear NEET I would like to go for Bachelor in Biotechnology. I was so much interested in Genetic Modified Organisms, Vaccines, Food and Industrial Biotechnology, Genetic Engineering, etc. The faculties are very experienced and they connect with us very well. They are very helpful and guided us in the best way they can.

Cafeterias are there where foods are available for everyone there.
Fest are held where many celebrities are welcomed to the university.

Likes

Campus life and infrastructure. It gives a rich feel to study in such good environment.
Amazing sports facilities and events being organised at regular intervals to enhance students overall development.
Good and professional faculties having good qualification background and corporate experiences.

Dislikes

Strict when it comes to students security.

Placement Experience:

I have experienced good campus placement. There are companies like ONGC, NRL, Reliance, Tata is a few MNCs to name that do come for campus placements. More company lists are mentioned in the placement tab on their website. To be Frank more than average students get placed which is a good number in real terms.
