Amity Kolkata's fine arts department guide

Likes

Big Infrastructure and and very good environment.
Labs and classrooms are well equipped and clean

Dislikes

75 percent attendance is a must or else you cannot sir in an exam.
A few departments need to be quick about informing the students about the different events going on in the college.

Placement are good enough in this University. But for a high aiming person like me, the packages are too low to start. The college should get in touch with bigger brands and also with brands outside India. So that the proper desired placement approaches the college when it's time.

looking at Amity University kolkata with a critical eye

air conditioning is good along with the new addition of two extra lifts bringing the total to 5
there is a good campus live which has a lot of motion and is veri lively both in and out of campus with absolutely no raging that I have seen

Course Curriculum Overview:

unlike other colleges, amity teaches both painting and applied for the first two semesters and even after that still has at least one subject related to the other option for the other semester. it also prepared you for real-world application by teaching other subjects like b com, EVS, foreign language, etc. the theory subject are straight to the point and the practical subjects even though lacking in the first two semesters have greatly improved due to the newly introduced module system where one practical subject is taught throughout the week

I like the campus of Amity University. And placement.

Dislikes

I dislike the overpriced the canteen food.

Placement Experience:

The highest placement of our college is 3600000, and the average in our department is 300000. Many large companies visited here like Sony, red chili, etc. The percentage of students getting placed is 90 percent.

Remarks:

Yea the college is pretty good. But every good thing also has its cons. The first thing is biased teachers in dealing with marks of students. The higher authorities doesn't even listen to the students. If we request some support from them, they dont work at all. Second is some seniors of 3rd year are so much disgusting and irritating.
